Genuine question, do you think the west’s “China Bad” propaganda actually benefit China in some way?

No joke, “how can propagandas to slander, to misinform, to smear bad things and simply to bring China down is beneficial to China?” you might ask.

Indeed, these propagandas have tainted China’s reputation to oblivion and have done significant damage to the country and its people regarding soft power, from casual racism (or racism under the thin veiled of “hating the government only), that most Chinese people eats dogs and bats, that they are dirty and rude, almost anything Chinese is mislabeled to Japan or Korea or a random Asian country, very few interest in Chinese culture and foreign tourists, etc. Let’s be real, most people drop their smile inside when they learn you are from China.

But on the other hand, imo these bad views strengthen China in someway, they leave most people clueless about the country, thus underestimating its ability, prejudice and racism lately that drives thousands of Chinese scientists back home, less foreign tourists and influence give you a more authentic experience. The enormous amount of tax payers money are spent to spread Sinophobia instead of investing in their country. The “discovery” that China is actually “cool” (technology, games, culture bla bla) which I think might not had such a big impact if China was well loved like Japan. And recently, Trump in his rampage run of ruining the US let people realize how much lies it spread, including things about China, young people especially changed their views about the country.

Honestly, I hate to admit but I somewhat glad China has a bad rap because it gained those benefits in return. What are your thoughts?

Ps: No way in hell I will ask this in r/China as it’s basically the anti-China subreddit at this point

“The amazing world of gumball” is the “Weeaboo that hates China” version of cartoon

I used to love this show as a kid, until I rewatched a few clips recently just how much Sinophobia is this show, and it clearly endlessly in love with Japanese culture. Just look at this shit, this show constantly reference many aspect of Japanese culture with respect like anime/manga, video game, Karate, and even has characters of supposed Japanese descent (Masami and Yuki).

But when it comes to Chinese? Blatant Tiananmen Square reference, shit on “CCP country has no women rights“, making fun of lactose intolerant among Chinese people (in episode copycat), etc. And somehow they got away with this shit. Just because there is a Chinese rip off of this show doesn’t justify your hate and bigotry against a whole country and its people

It’s a shame that this was my favorite show, until I am matured enough to realize that this show is the embodiment of “Weeaboo that worship Japan and has an eternal hate for China”. Trust me, they definitely will make fun of Unit 731 if they can get away with it.

Recommendation for Adult life manga? Better if NSFW

I get tired (and disgusted) of the cheap plot highly sexualized high school yuri mangas in which the characters look like elementary students (yuck!). So please can you guys recommend me yuri mangas that has more invested plot (beautiful art style the better, at least the one that doesn’t look pedophilic), NSFW theme is a plus, One shot is also good. Thank you in advance!

Ps: for reference and payback, my favorite type are shown in these mangas/oneshots: Gomen ne, xxx dekinakute; Kimi no Sei Nan Dakara, Sekinin Totte yo ne; I really just want to do more, etc.

Favorite character/entity that is “paranormal”, the one that makes you feel unease and scratch your head?

“The strange man” in RDR and Gaster in Undertale are prime examples of this

Chinese queer folks have no chills lmao

High chances are the commenter is from Chengdu (iynyn)

In my experience, knowing Chinese is like digging a gold mine when you want to look for LGBT contents

She's a good gurl, but my god she's the most timid horse I've ever had

As if she put all her points in speed and handling but none in the courage basket lmao, but still, she's the best horse to ride on imo

And how easy it is to rob them, just pull a gun, threatens them, or pull the trigger when they decide to shoot you. And boom, the whole store is yours! No security whatsoever, you’d think they should at least hire a guard or something lol
