💫GOD will not come down and give you everything you want🌞

He gave you a mind to think, hands to build, and a purpose to fulfill.

Be useful to your community.
Become intelligent.
Learn valuable skills.
Solve problems.
Create opportunities.
Build something that serves people.

Don’t just ask, “What can God give me?”

Ask yourself:
“What can I become?”
“What can I build?”
“Who can I help?”

Pray for wisdom, then go study.
Pray for opportunity, then go create.
Pray for success, then go work.

Faith requires movement.
God can give you the vision, but you have a responsibility to develop the discipline, knowledge, and character to bring it to life.
Become so valuable that your community is better because you exist. 🙏🏽

✨Can you trust God even when you don’t yet see what you prayed for?🌞

What Jesus is teaching
1. “What things soever ye desire…”
Jesus acknowledges that we have desires and things we want to bring before God. But this isn’t a promise that God will give us everything our flesh wants. Our desires are meant to be brought into alignment with God’s will.

2. “When ye pray…”
The starting point is prayer. You’re not simply wishing for something—you are bringing it before God and acknowledging that He is the source.

3. “Believe that ye receive them…”
This is the heart of the verse. Faith means trusting God before the circumstances change.
You can pray for something and still not see any evidence yet. Faith says:
“I don’t see it yet, but I trust God with it.”
That doesn’t mean pretending something has happened when it hasn’t. It means having confidence that God heard you and is working according to His wisdom and purpose.

4. “And ye shall have them.”
Jesus is teaching us to approach God with confidence rather than doubt. But the surrounding passage also connects prayer with forgiveness, and Scripture as a whole makes clear that prayer isn’t about manipulating God into giving us whatever we demand.

The deeper lesson
The verse isn’t really saying:
“Think about what you want hard enough and you’ll get it.”
It’s saying:
“Bring your desires to God, trust Him completely, and believe that He is faithful—even while you are waiting.”
And sometimes the answer is yes, sometimes wait, and sometimes God has something different.
That’s where the real test of faith comes in: Can you trust God even when you don’t yet see what you prayed for?
And that’s why this connects beautifully with what you shared earlier:
“Be still, and know that I am God.”
Faith isn’t always doing more. Sometimes faith is being still, praying, believing, and letting God handle what you cannot control.

Our God is so intentional! 🙌

John 14:21 says, "Whoever has my commands and keeps them is the one who loves me. The one who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I too will love them and show myself to them". Jesus shares this during the Last Supper to explain that true love for Him is shown through action and obedience.

S/O SALT & LIGHT 🏳️‍🏳️‍🏳️‍

"Galatians reminds us: You don’t need approval when you already have acceptance in Christ. Your past may explain you, but it does not define you. Your worth isn’t in what you do, but in whose you are. You’re not bound anymore—you belong. Feelings change, but the Spirit leads in truth. And every quiet act of obedience is a seed God never wastes. Stay faithful. The harvest always comes, right on time." 🤍
