1855 Victorian Silverware Set (Plated)

Hi all, I recently came across this victorian silver plated cutlery set and I wanted to get an opinion on its market value. It seems like the set is from 1855 and is built from silver plated steel and mother of pearl materials. This set seems to have been appraised in 1951 by Martin and Co. and I was wondering if anybody could help me determine the fair market value of this. I would like to sell it on ebay but I am not really sure what it is worth. I was thinking $800? - Any help would be appreciated!

Ever since I graduated college I have felt this strange void in my chest. Back in college everything seemed exciting. There was always time and energy to go out and spend QT with friends and family, there were parties and social gatherings available all the time. But ever since I graduated and left my college town, and moved to CO, everything just feels monotonous and boring. Like sure I am very grateful that I have a good job and live in an awesome area, but it always revolves around 5AM-go to work, 2:30PM -go home, then rinse and repeat. When Friday comes along I'm so exhausted that I nest at home; but in my gut I feel like I am wasting my life in an apartment.

I college I had a multitude of friends and some close to this day but we live far apart. So now I find my self on a Friday night alone not knowing what to do because I lack the community I once had. Work takes all my time, and sure I do consider the people at work friends but they are, you know.... corporate America friends, and I already spend most of my time with them kind of against my will anyways lol...

So here I am venting because I'm alone in my apartment and I have a gut feeling there are more of us feeling this way than not. Perhaps it is a condition of the time period we live in but I feel like us humans are not meant to operate this isolated from one another (my perspective is from the USA standpoint for my international friends.) And if isolation doesn't, or the forced time constraint of adulthood, then its the sheer expense of going out. Its always minimum $100 for a day out....
