What would you want for Trey Murphy?

It seems as though based on rumors that our boy is most likely not on the team next year. If you had to give him up what would you want and where would you want to send him?

POR-BOS

Based on rumors this seems to be the trade for brown. Jerami and the two young guys with both bucks picks and another first.

Seems fair on both sides but wow is this so much worse than just trading the role players for giannis.

They’ll probably give a bucks pick away for Turner and trade one of the young guys and some picks for Trey but it’s so meh

What NBA legend would be better today than their era

I’m going first and saying Bird. Dude was a 6’10 shooter that can pass and can play inside. With the spacing nowadays he’d be debatably be better now

DAL-TOR

Dallas gets a starting younger pg back and a promising player in Ja’Kobe plus an unprotected pick

Toronto makes a move for Kyrie and potentially Kawhi too

Adjust the picks as you see fit

Spurs-Grizzlies

Spurs get a PF and Ja who has less years on his contract than Fox does

Grizzlies get Fox who can be a facilitator for boozer and edey.

I don’t think the spurs would trade Fox rn but it’s interesting to think about at least

Also adjust for picks as you like

What’s our ceiling if we just keep the team the same?

From what I’ve seen with any discussion if we should trade a player is that the sentiment on this sub is to just keep the team the same and hope for health. My question is if we’re even a play in team if we do that?

Thunder, Nuggets, Spurs, Timberwolves are all better than us without question

Rockets, warriors, lakers are probably better just looking at our rosters

Clippers, Suns, Mavs, trailblazers, Jazz- this is probably the tier we’re in but are we convinced that we’re better than any of these teams

Clippers have kawhi and if they keep them are we sure we could over take them?

Mavs, this completely depends on Cooper Flagg’s development and his fit with Kyrie. I do think they’re probably gonna be better than us next year just with those two

Suns and trailblazers are both around the same level as us but they have much more playoff experience and I could easily see us losing a play in game against them

Jazz are hard to judge at the moment because we haven’t see much of their full team play plus we don’t know how good Darryn will be

We should be better than the Grizzlies and Kings though

So realistically we’re like the 13th to 9th best team in the west. Im not sure a brown or a Ja would even move us that much that we’d be in a much different spot anyway. I say trade for Ja so we’d be more fun to watch I guess 😂

NO-MKE-BOS

After some discussion, this probably makes a bit more sense

Celtics get Trey who’s a borderline Star, Herb who helps their defense and takes a load off white. And a project young center in missi

Pels get an actual center and bonefide star with JB

Bucks get their pick back and take pooles contract for money

Adjust for picks as I’m not a GM that’s discussing 😂

NO-CHA

I don’t think lamelo will be traded but if he was to be

Trey would be a much better improvement at PF compared to bridges and Dejounte is a replacement pg (who is a better defender) since they are losing lamelo. I’m not to sure what picks they would add but this is just ball parking it. I’m not to sure what Lamelo’s trade value really is

And New Orleans gets another star they’ve been saying that they want for Trey, if they did trade him

[Winderman] “I think Boston is not only back in but Milwaukee right now is trying to find a third team for Jaylen Brown. It’s very real.”
