From “BDC” to Sales Ops / RevOps? Anyone in the PNW make that jump?

Anyone else in automotive feel like the “BDC” title has changed a lot over the last few years?
My role is less appointment setting and more acting as the middleman between remote BDC coordinators and the sales floor.
Most of my day is:
pipeline control
CRM hygiene
lead routing
follow-up accountability
rep communication
process cleanup
making sure leads don’t fall apart between teams
At times it honestly feels closer to sales operations or revenue operations than traditional BDC work.
I’m starting to feel like these skill sets probably translate outside automotive into higher-paying operational or CRM-focused roles, especially in the PNW.
Curious if anyone has made that transition successfully or has recommendations on industries/companies where this background is valued more heavily.
Feel free to comment or DM me.

Curious where someone with my background translates best long term.

Currently managing CRM hygiene, lead routing, pipeline accountability, appointment flow, and sales coordination in the luxury automotive space. Heavy focus on process, follow-up systems, rep accountability, and operational efficiency.

Looking to connect with people in the PNW working hybrid roles around:
• CRM Operations
• Revenue Operations
• Customer Success
• Sales Enablement
• SaaS onboarding/adoption
• Pipeline management

If you’ve made a similar transition or know companies where this background fits well, send me a private message. Trying to network smarter and learn where this skillset is actually valued.

Subject: PNW Career Pivot. CRM / Operations / Luxury Client Experience Background. What Roles Am I Missing?

Currently in the luxury automotive space working in a high-volume BDC / operations-focused role.

My background is heavily centered around:
• CRM management
• lead distribution and pipeline control
• customer communication
• appointment performance
• process improvement
• sales support operations
• working between management, reps, and inbound teams
• training / onboarding style support

I’ve helped improve performance in multiple environments and I’m now trying to identify the highest income career paths that actually fit this skill set long term.

Main goals:
• Hybrid or remote
• Strong income ceiling
• Growth path
• Ideally tech, SaaS, operations, CRM, customer success, enablement, onboarding, RevOps, implementation, or similar

Located in the Pacific Northwest.

Would appreciate real suggestions from people who’ve made a similar move out of dealership life or know industries that value this background.

Comments or PMs both appreciated.
