Hello everyone. My name is Josh but i go by the pseudonym Omnia. I built my PC a year ago and after falling victim to a common scam on Steam I am ready to try and make friends on PC!

A little about me before you decide:

​

I am 31 years old, married, and very into video games. My top 3 genres are fighting games, RPGs, and action games. Honorable mentions to FPS and rhythm games. Currently I've been trying out a bunch of new demos courtesy of Summer Games Fest going on. I am introverted for sure but I know how to speak up and have a solid conversation with people so long as I'm knowledgeable or curious about the subject.

Outside of gaming, I love movies and music. For movies, I'm really into old gangster movies and pretty much a lot of '90s stuff as well. Last two movies I watched were Goodfellas and an old movie called 12 Monkeys (didn't understand a thing that was going on but it was a good time lol). Some of my favorite actors are Sam Jackson, Robin Williams, and Salma Hayek. Some of my favorite directors are Quentin Tarantino, Peter Jackson, and Martin Scorsese.

As far as music goes, I'm a metalhead through and through. My main genre is metalcore but I've experimented with many subgenres and found that I like deathcore, thrash, heavy metal (think Black Sabbath and the like), and more recently melodic death metal like Mors Principium Est and Shadow of Intent. I also really EDM, specifically drum and bass, house, and psytrance. Still growing my library of EDM but I really like the music.

As it stands right now, I don't have many games on PC (I mainly play single player titles on my PS5) but maybe a few that I could play with others. I'm also looking for recommendations from the people I meet to help me finally grow my Steam library. Games I could play with people right now are:

While I'm not the best at ARC Raiders, I'm pretty good at BG3 and very good at Clone Hero. But even if none of these are to your taste, I'm really just trying to meet people and chat about our interests.

But yeah, that's pretty much the long and short of it. I am looking for friends that want to chat, maybe play a few of the games I listed, recommend games to each other, talk about music, movies, life, cool discoveries that we might have learned that day, etc.
