Seeking CPA or CPA-Lawyer Equity Partner for S&S Bookkeeping Services

Seeking CPA or CPA-Lawyer Equity Partner for S&S Bookkeeping Services

I’m looking for a CPA or CPA-lawyer who wants to join S&S Bookkeeping Services as an equity partner.

This is a pure equity opportunity. There is no retainer and no cash comp attached. I’m looking for someone who wants ownership upside and is willing to build with us over time.

Offer

  • XX% equity
  • 5-year vesting
  • 1-year cliff
  • No retainer
  • Equity partner role

What we’re building
S&S Bookkeeping Services is a bookkeeping and financial operations company focused on helping businesses get cleaner books, stronger controls, and better reporting. We’re building something that combines accounting rigor, compliance judgment, and practical business execution.

Why I’m posting
I’m looking for someone who sits at the intersection of accounting, legal thinking, and compliance. Ideally, you can help with:

  • accounting credibility
  • compliance and risk judgment
  • entity and structural thinking
  • strategic guidance
  • long-term company building

Ideal fit

  • CPA or CPA-lawyer
  • Strong on compliance and risk
  • Thinks strategically, not just technically
  • Wants meaningful upside
  • Comfortable with an early-stage, builder-style partnership
  • Interested in helping shape something real, not just advising from the sidelines

Who this is not for
If you’re looking for a paid consulting gig, this is not that. This is for someone who wants to take equity and help build a company with long-term upside.

If you’re interested, DM me with:

  • your background
  • why this opportunity fits you
  • whether you’d want active operating involvement or a more strategic partner role

If you want to learn more about what we’re building, start with our Careers page to see the roles we’re hiring for, read our About page to understand the team and mission behind S&S Bookkeeping Services, and explore The S&S App to see how we’re turning bookkeeping into a more secure, modern, and operationally strong experience.

Founders: You spent 100 hours optimizing your tech stack, but 10 minutes on the one thing that will actually kill your startup.

Most founders spend 100 hours optimizing their tech stack and 10 minutes picking their bank.

That’s a massive mistake.

After 20+ years building SaaS products and scaling systems, I've learned that your banking partner is just as critical as your cloud provider.

Traditional banks simply aren't built for startup velocity. They don't understand MRR, they take weeks to issue a simple corporate card, and their clunky portals slow down your operations.

Having the right Fintech bank in your corner changes everything. Here is what a modern financial stack actually gives you:

✅ Speed: Instant virtual cards to spin up new ad campaigns or subscribe to the AI tools your team needs today.
✅ Automation: Seamless API integrations with your accounting software so you aren't reconciling expenses manually
✅ Global Reach: Fast, low-fee cross-border payments to easily pay remote engineering talent anywhere in the world.
✅ Visibility: Built-in runway, cash flow, and burn rate analytics that make sense for a SaaS business model.

When you're focused on growth engineering and building AI-native tools, the last thing you need is an outdated bank acting as a bottleneck. Your money should move as fast as your code.

Google May 2026 Core Update Analysis

Google May 2026 Core Update Analysis: Intent, Market Fit and Source Type Drove the Biggest Visibility Shifts

TLDR

The May 2026 Core Update looks like a recalibration of which source type Google treats as the default destination for each intent. Canonical reference brands, local-market ecommerce entities and category-defining transactional marketplaces gained in the clearest examples. Forums/Q&A, wrong market domains, derivative informational tools and lower confidence utility layers were the most exposed.

May mga may-ari ba dito ng laundry shop? Need insights for LaundromatAI

Cebuano founder here, now based in the US. Gumawa ako ng tool called LaundromatAI isang AI‑native POS at workflow system para sa mga laundry shops. Ginagamit na siya ng ilang PH shops, and I’m trying to refine the workflow based on real operations sa Pilipinas.

  • Ano ang pinaka‑mahirap i‑monitor

Daghan Salamat!

p.s: hiring pala ako - nsa discord ang post

Anyone here running a laundry shop? Need feedback for LaundromatAI

I’m a Cebuano founder now based in the US, and I built LaundromatAI a tool that automates day‑to‑day laundry shop operations like staff workflows, ticketing, machine tracking, and store management. It’s currently being used in PH shops, and we’re refining the workflow based on real store behavior.

One thing we’ve noticed is that many laundry shop owners still rely heavily on manual tracking, paper tickets, or basic POS systems that aren’t designed for laundromats. This creates issues with lost orders, staff accountability, and delays in customer updates.

I’m looking for feedback from PH laundry shop owners/operators or anyone running service‑based businesses:

  • What parts of your operations are still manual
  • What’s the hardest part to track or monitor
  • Do tools like this help, or do they add complexity
  • What features would actually make your day easier

Not promoting anything just trying to understand the real gaps in PH laundromat operations so we can improve LaundromatAI based on actual needs.
