Whats the most cursed path/thing you can do in current EaW?

Sometimes you get tired of being a goody two-shoe harmonist or winning your 10th civil war as a stern but fair leader.

Sometimes you just wanna do something horribly cursed and enjoy the wild ride to see how deep the rabbit hole goes and how far the writer is willing to go. I just wanna know some possible cursed stuff, can be of any sort but I really enjoy these secret borderline spooky paths sometimes. They might not be the most fleshed out or balanced ones out of the normal paths but fun is fun.

I'm in a bit of a dilemma and at risk of becomming homeless: Wanted to ask the exact "laws" regarding my situation and possible tips

For context I live in Kanton Bern

I've been currently living in my appartment for around 6 years now however last year roughly around december we got the notification that they're going to demolish our appartment complex due to them being "too old". Mine will get demolished this December and the last buidling in the complex around next year.

The problem is now I've been trying desperately since January to find an appartment but I've been jobless for almost 2 years now and currently in Sozialamt. Due to the low pay I also have Betreibungen since I can't even pay my taxes.

Due to these things it's been impossible for me to find an appartment. I even went to find some way above the "sozialamt budget" because that one is just straight up inlogical and outdated.

The only Support I really got was a reference letter from the Vermieter and... some useless paper from the Sozialamt that just says how much they will pay. I always provided these two during the applications but so far no luck.

Other than that there was 0 real support or useful advice regarding the situation.

Anyway for the main question: What exactly happens once the deadline hits? Should I notify the vermieter company already now about my situation?
I tried asking the sozialamt if they have possible Appartments for people in my situation but the answer was a very bloated "no"

Anyone remember the chinese Restaurant next to the Mcdonalds inside the Hauptbahnhof? I've been struggling to find a replacement

That was so long ago that I can't even remember what year it was. I think when they remodeled that part of the Bahnho the restaurant was permamently removed togheter with the fish one.

The reason why I'm asking is because after all those years I still remember the unique and absolute legendary taste of their crispy ducks. It had that perfect blend of sour and sweet I never tasted in another place before and couldnt find online recipes to replicate it. I've been going from chinese restaurants to restaurants trying to find one that makes them similiar but they either have a tongue-destroying way too sweet sauce or dont have that unique glassy "crispy" skin with not quite the same sauce.

The closest I found was a local one but it was more of an peanut sauce but god damn was it crispy. Sadly that one also closed permamently some years ago and the building looks like from a horror movie.

Did they maybe move out and I just never found them? I'm just a bit desperated trying to find a crispy duck of the same style.

New hire confessed to lying about employment dates on CV. Will HR find out through Pensionskasse/AHV?

Hi everyone,

I’m in a bit of a dilemma with a new coworker and could use some insight into this

A new employee started in my team a week ago. They are doing a fantastic job so far, but yesterday they had a bit of a breakdown and confessed to me that they lied on their CV. Specifically, they claimed to have been employed until recently, but in reality, they’ve been unemployed for a much longer period (about 2 years).

When I asked if they just "stretched" the dates on the CV text or if they actually altered their Arbeitszeugnis (employment certificate), they were vague and didn't want to say, but they were clearly terrified.

Here’s my concern: I don’t want to ruin this person’s entire life over this, especially since they are performing extremly well. However, I’m worried about the administrative "paper trail" in Switzerland.

  1. Pensionskasse (2nd Pillar): When the transfer of the vested benefits (Freizügigkeitsleistung) happens, won't HR see the exact date they left their previous employer?
  2. AHV/Social Security: Is the system interconnected enough that a 2-year gap will raise a red flag during the registration process?

From a manager's perspective, is it inevitable that HR will catch this within the next month or two? I’m almost considering advising them to resign for "personal reasons" before HR finds out and potentially fires them for cause (or worse, if a document was forged).

Has anyone here (especially HR people) seen this play out? How "visible" are these gaps to an employer once the onboarding paperwork is processed?

Thanks for the help.

Why is Melatonin so forbidden here?

It's a "relative" harmless product that doesnt require a prescription in 90% of the world including germany.

Why do I need a doctor visit and then have to pay crazy high prices at the Pharmacy just for one bottle? It costs roughly +90-120CHF meanwhile I can get it over the desk for only around 10 bucks right up north.

The pharmacy workers also seem to act really strange about it. I'm just a bit annoyed because I have annoying sleep issues my doctor just shrugs his shoulders about but when Melatonin is mentioned his grimace suddenly gets serious but with no explaination.

I'm just curious because I just found out iherb doesnt sell it anymore to switzerland and I'm forced to get it off Amazon now.

[FNV] Why is NVR on discord only?

That's absolute horrible. You can't even auto-link it when using wabbajack unlike other websites like GGmods.

I tried googlin for the reasoning and found nothing

Is there a way to go back to the old workshop style?

the new one is awful. Having to scroll down to find the search bar is some weird design logic.

And it's all so oddly stretched. Was it made for phones?

so is there any fix to this problem? Apperently it's been going for 2 days now

Kind of crazy that we pay premium and such a site-wide problem doesn't get solved.

I can't download a whole bunch of mods now

Is there a way to make this annoying popup to never appear in teh account settings?

Because I can't find any option and it's really really annoying. Why would I willingly join a beta or something just to download a file

is Lorerim finally safe to use?

Was interested in it but it seemed months ago that every week a new update came out that demanded a new save file including after the supposely "final save filling update" so I never bothered with it.

Havent heard of such updates in a while so I was curious if its finally safe to try it now
