I need help finding a clip of a TOS episode.

It's in the episode, Charlie X. It's where Kirk goes up to the bridge with Charlie. Before they get on the turbo lift Kirk is wearing his typical gold uniform, but when they get off, he's wearing that unusual greenish tunic. I tried scouring YouTube and other places, but I can't find it. If anyone can help, it will be appropriated. Thanks.

About a year ago we launched the first episode of our fan documentary on John Carpenter's The Thing, and wevare so happy with the comments and discussions we've had, but if you haven't seen it, please check it out.

As a kid I always thought the gun controls just blew up in his face. He mentioned a bit earlier about a malfunction in fire control, so I thought that's what did it.

However, watching the scene just a few minutes ago, it looks like a laser blast that did it. Was the laser blast sound effect added later?

I have my own hypothesis about the circumstances around his death. I haven't seen a similar ideas discussed anywhere else.

We were very frustrated because we couldn't figure out how these things worked. We looked online, and the videos we saw didn't help. We eventually discovered the mechanics behind the the spell and how it manipulated objects, so we put this video together to help others with these trials. We hope you find it enlightening.

I've seen a number of posts here and there about the chess game cheating or changing the board.

This isn't true. The reason we see a change in the pieces on the board between shots is a simple continuity error. That's all.

The reason MacReady calls the game a 'cheatin' bitch' is because he's a sore loser and just fried the game out of spite.

It's also a foreshadowing of the end of the movie where Mac & Co. do the same thing with the base.

As if to say, "If you're going to lose, burn the board so your opponent won't win either."
