Every Version of You Had a Purpose.

It's easy to look back at the person you used to be with regret. We cringe at our mistakes, the poor decisions, the moments we wish we could erase, and the versions of ourselves that didn't know any better. But growth isn't built from perfection, it's built from experience. Every chapter, no matter how painful or embarrassing, taught you something that comfort never could.
The insecure version of you taught you confidence. The heartbroken version taught you resilience. The version that trusted the wrong people taught you wisdom. Even the moments you failed, gave up, or lost your way shaped the person you're becoming today. Without those struggles, you wouldn't have the strength, empathy, or perspective you carry now.
Instead of being ashamed of your past, honor it. Those versions of you were simply doing their best with the knowledge, strength, and circumstances they had at the time. They deserve compassion, not condemnation.
Your past isn't something to hide it's the foundation of your growth. Every version of you was necessary, because every version brought you one step closer to the person you are becoming.
