Here is proof that Lyft will shorten the ride upfront amount because it knows the tip percentage. The customer has already set up to tip. The customer said, “I’ll tip you in the app; it’s automatically set at 25%.”

Dude actually came out to my car and asked if I could wait 5min over the timer. I said sure and his 5 min timer was up. I canceled that shit and got $6. My full pay would have been $12. $6 for not having to drive anywhere. Nice!
