Oxygen OS 12 does slow down my device (shame on you, OnePlus!).
Is there any nice custom rom that lets me pay with my banking app again?
It doesn't support Android 10 anymore.
Is there also Android Auto available?
That's everything I need: baking app contactless payment compatibility and Android Auto.

I am a bit desperate.
After only having Snapdragon devices, I made the jump to the Oppo Find X9 Pro.
Having already imported a OnePlus 12 and 13 from china through TradingShenzen, I thought why not give the Oppo a try?
And that's what I did.
I really liked that red color of the Find X9 Pro and went for the 16gb/512gb variant for 750€.
I've noticed the device was very warm during setup and was like: hmm, maybe that's because of the setup.
Now, two months later, I still face the same heat.
The heat develops at the upper part of the phone roughly where the back camera sits, both he display and the back area around the camera bump are very hot with no demanding use. The Mediatek seems to be trashly optimized judging the fluctuating.
I've had a Honor Magic V5 and even that one with LESS surface to cool it down did never cross the 32 degree mark during my usage.
I did transfer every image and video, installed anything else from scratch.
This is my last resort to help, otherwise I will never ever get a Mediatek device again.
I assume this is the reason why it was only 750€.
I am very grateful for any help. The last thing I wanna do is reset the phone. If y'all need any more info, please let me know.
Every device I've had was cooler than this except for my Snapdragon 888 in my Xiaomi 11T Pro.
I only use YouTube, Reddit, Discord, Telegram and WhatsApp. The Snapdragon 865 in my OnePlus 7T Pro stays a lot cooler to the touch in the same environment, so please don't tell me it's because of the current heatwave.

Does anyone know why the Mediatek in my Find X9 Pro always is 6 degrees warmer than the environment and the clock speeds are constantly fluctuating?
8 Elite Gen 5 runs a lot "smoother", a almost straight line when not touching the device unlike my Dimensity 9500.
Device is a CN unit. Uncomfortably warm compared to my previous Snapdragon devices.

I want to copy my chats from Color OS to Harmony OS but I am too stupid to scan the QR code.
Is there any way I need to do it? Isn't it point and shoot? Any hidden technique on scanning a QR code in 2026?
If I log in with my number without transferring chats I do only get to load chats from last year despite having a backup made right now. What is this mess?

After having ordered the OnePlus 12 and 13 from TradingShenzen, I've bitten the apple of regret and ordered the Oppo Find X9 Pro based on my positive experience.

I own it since 27.05.2026.
​
Since the first day however, my device is warm to the touch.
​
I've never experienced this with any other phone for more than three days, mainly because I've always had trouble free snapdragons except for my 888, which kinda now rivals my Dimensity 9500, unironically.
​
I thought "well, maybe the Dimensity chip is the reason they sell dirt cheap, maybe it's just like a awfully optimized chip that needs more indexing?".
​
And, unfortunately, that's what I did, ruining my chances of return since the return window did vanish.
​
Even today, the device still heats up during very light usage like Discord, Reddit, Telegram and Whatsapp. Even YouTube!
​
I run my device both on WiFi and mobile data.
​
While the SOT is perfect, this unexplainable heat is what bothers me.
​
And no, it is not because of this current heat, because I am not plain stupid.
​
My AC keeps my house at 21 degrees, my device sits at 40 degrees, caseless, writing this text.
​
I've uninstalled every app and installed them again, turned off auto launch, associated launch, location services, printing services.
​
Nothing has helped.
​
I've read the Xiaomi 17 T Pro also has the same SOC and some users face this issue as well.
​
Future buyers, while some people weirdly are not affected by this, maybe you could.
​
Any help on this would be nice, while it was a true eye opener for me, I hope this issue will get fixed with Color OS 17, otherwise I see myself wandering off to Honor again despite I don't like the Color profile of their cams.

My OnePlus 13 on Color OS 16 as well as 15 was all fine. My Honor Magic 8 Pro was all fine. My global Oppo Find X8 Pro faced the same heat, my Chinese Find X9 Pro now does, too. I thought, well, Chinese ROM devices are usually better opmtized based on my experience when I updated my global OnePlus 12 from oxygen os 14 to 15 and faced awful battery life for three weeks, downgraded again to 14 and it was fine the second day.

The software is on the latest available beta patch, but was the same on the mainline.
My OnePlus 13 did drop to 99% of battery health after exactly 8 months, I did install everything update once it was available. I will do the same with my Find X9 Pro, and if it does not last at least 6 months, it'll probably be my last Oppo.

While I am satisfied with the device so far - Android Auto works (yay!) - the only gripe I've found at my banking apps.
Everything else works just fine, but my banking app refuses to load.
Is there any known issue about this?
My OnePlus 13 on Color OS 15 did not have this issue.
Any solutions would be nice!

I guess it did me dirty.
Right now I have a OPPO Find X8 Pro.
How would the speakers compare from the OnePlus 15, the Find X8 Pro, the Find X9 Pro and the X9 Ultra against each other or just compare to one out of my list?
Details would be nice, which one has more bass, which one stays clear despite being on almost full level, which has more soundstage, which is nice on voices and seperation and so on.
