Well ain’t this a kick in the head

I know stores are going to be transitioning to All Spark™ deliveries on different timelines, but the date in this AMP task happens to be the exact day they “flip the switch” in my market.

They want us to give the slack-jawed Spark shoppers a gift the very same day they’re scabbing our hours away. It’s disgustingly insensitive, even for Walmart.

I cannot guarantee any of our drivers will receive a bottle of Coke.

How long does new driver priority last?

I thought it’s the first 50 trips but my friend signed up for spark last year and never did anything with it until now when he got laid off. So his account has 0 trips but I am getting offers before him. The offers were so insulting he went home and hasn’t tried again so far.

Customer rating is everything but it’s so easy to manipulate

I am in a zone without the new tiers and drivers with a 5.0 rating has higher priority than me. I am 4.95. There are a lot of drivers with 5.0 at my store and it’s the reason I can’t move past 5th in priority. It’s not the only factor, I have higher priority than some drivers with 5.0 but the higher rating gives a big advantage. I think the ratings is given a heavy weight before applying other factors to determine priority.

Apparently a lot of drivers are ordering with the only purpose of giving ratings.

It would be great if Walmart started implementing some of the ratings protection like instacart.

  1. Ratings from customers who has a pattern of giving low ratings are removed

  2. Remove the lowest or 2 lowest rating

Something different for once, very thankful for spark

There are orders available from store open until close, we get to see full address before accepting, we can see bulky and heavy item. Despite all the latest updates, it’s still the most transparent app when it comes to offers.

I built up a lot of savings working on this app the past few years. I have between 10000-20000 orders done on the app.

For almost a full year I didn’t even touch the funds in OnePay, only recently did I transfer a portion of it to invest in spacex and started moving funds to accounts paying a higher interest rate. I used only funds from other apps for my living expenses.

No other apps come close to how busy spark is.

How can I improve my priority?

I’ve tried many tricks but I can’t get higher than top 5 so if there’s only 4 orders for the hour, I won’t get anything unless one of those 4 drivers rejects.

Mileage deduction expense expected to be increased starting July 1st?

Anybody expecting the 72.5 cents to be increased for the second half of the year due to gas prices? We had something similar during COVID.

Triple express shops have hit my zone

I think these are the 3 hour express orders. Base compensation was really low and nobody tipped for 70 items.

Does anyone else use Reddit without sound?

I mute the videos and only turn them on if the video is interesting enough. Can reddit tell if a video ad was played with or without sound?

I think there should be different video ads based on this like more text heavy videos for users browsing with no sound?

Why isn’t Walmart able to detect something so simple?

There are now at least 8 drivers doing this shit at my store.

1 driver 2 accounts usually their own and a spouse or 2 rented accounts, goes inside the store grabs 2 carts and shops 4 orders at the same time.

They gather all the perishable items in the cart but not scan them until last minute to avoid order cancellation

When done shopping, push 1 cart out the grocery entrance, loads up the car and goes back in to push out the 2nd cart for account 2, exits out of the other entrance loads up the 2nd cart and drives off.

Are they holding off on exiting the store on the 2nd account or did they start the trip on both accounts and put the 2nd phone on airplane mode so the customer and Walmart can’t track them?

How can I start getting orders again?

I stopped doing this app because I wasn’t getting any orders. The drivers with higher priority access is in and out all day, I would like to start this up again but I could leave the app on for hours and not see anything at the store I want to work at.

I have done 0 orders this year, I have 5.0 star but my shopping speed is 180, could that be the problem?

How can I get to even cart star if they’re not sending me any orders?

New driver banned from receiving round robin?

I’m trying to help my friend figure out what’s going on and how long it lasts. He has not received any round robin for 6 days. He has completed only 17 trips, 100% on every metric except a - for customer rating and quantity found.

He is waiting with a group of us and we will get each other’s rejected round robin offers many times but he does not get any round robin. He has tried early morning and late evening with the same results.

He is still seeing fcfs orders but has not received any round robin. Reinstalling and even changing zones and back did not make any difference.

The only thing I could think of is that he took 5 express orders in a row early on. They were for expensive items think laptops and gaming consoles type of items being ordered and all 5 were being delivered to the same address. If all 5 orders were fraudulent, there would be at least 2 thousand in losses for Walmart.
