The most dumb thing I have ever seen is people ask "When does this (series) get good?" because why watch anything people recommend (usually being the same series) if your question is "When does it get good?"
If you have to ask that then stop watching it and move on. Because I am grow tired of the fact most of you lack any attention to judge that for yourselves and ask a bunch of randoms online to validate your question.
It annoys me and I am tired of pretending that it doesn't
In her time of finding mushrooms. I am pretty sure she has at least came across those types of mushrooms.
Toriyama has no involvement with this series and I accept that but objectively looking at it, GT feels like a return to form where Goku is a kid (again), goes on adventures but a newer line up and of course a new character to boot.
What I loved about OG at first because it was a journey and like GT and it tries to be less serious in tone like OG compared to the many awful Saiyan forms in Super and its OTT power fantasy.
The fights been pretty good and there were some decent antagonists or villains (except Dolltacki, that dude just don't feel right) and of course the cast itself.
If there were a one thing this series could of done right it handling Pan. Sure she is a child and she wants to show off but she is more of a liability than a asset to the series or Goku for that matter.
Its maynot the best series but where its premise lies within its worldbuilding, storytelling and direction, GT is still a good original series as a whole.
Akko! The Mushroom stocks are dropping! We need idea toots
"There is no bigger enemy of anime than the fans themselves"
Let me explain;
Whenever there is a new anime that comes out within seasonal periods it can only go one or 2 ways, with praise or with disdain. I am the one who tries to see anime for what it is, a medium that brings me joy and for me praise or show disdain is normal.
Myself and probably most of you who are over 25's realize that anime is a really good medium and we have no need to try and shit on peoples happiness, right?
You see I was on Instagram looking at my feed and I see that one of the series I watched recently and fell in love with and took up reading the manga being "Smoking behind the supermarket with you" (I'm a smoker) which had starting cropping up on my feed saying it got pretty decent scores and apparently some "controversies"
The "controversy" stems from Tamaya and Sasaki's age difference. But however this one makes less sense to me because the "anime fans" the same people who complain about fanservice or loli characters being sexualized are complaining about the dynamic between 2 adults in the least sexual way portrayed.
I do not understand this... I thought people wanted 2 adults dating?
I ask this because I got in a "debate" for a lack of a better word regarding canon and fan shipping. And all that happened lead to words being thrown about where one speaks of reason and the other was frothing at the mouth.
Now to put it simply, I am not bothered by people shipping whichever character with whoever they wish, heck even themselves and I see that as a non issue. And also I do not care for such things.
I will not deny that the pairings people suggest have been interesting. I don't hate shippers or what they do and I do support their concept and ideas but when I do come across these people once in a while, I forget how much I really hate debating them.
Because when I do engage with these people, whether their ship is canon or not, they display this behaviour of texts completely override what I said and turned it into another topic that was not even relevant and miss the point completely to the point I am being gaslit about my "problematic" behaviour.
And instead of falling into a state where I am trying not to insult them, I just give up and let them believe whatever they wish. Its weak, but tbh I have other priorities where they matter and 1 random person online bares no anchor to my life.
Now regarding my anecdotes, how do you feel on shipping and shippers as a whole?
I just discovered a device called "Volca sample" through YouTube, I have not purchased but it seems pretty usable and the gear I have used (and currently own) are TE PO-33, Boss SP202 and Roland SP404SX.
With what I have said, what are the pro and cons of owning a Volca sample and using it to my current setup?
Champloo, Tokyo Tribe and Afro Samurai are excluded.
Lets see what y'all got!
I love this genre, I seen plenty but my faves been Sing a Bit of Harmony (as displayed) Ya Boy! Kongming. Girls Band Cry. Fuuka and majority of the Macross franchise (Didn't like Macross 7 much)
Considering that both characters are from probably from strong universes and are both technically "gods" how would an actual interaction between the 2 pan out?
Would they fight? Would there be something between them?
I am curious

Did a few recordings on it and honestly, for £80. I quite like this.
Anyone every use these or something similar?
