Milestone 12

Not much has happened for Shermaposting since last Milestone.

Irl tho....

•Teacher I have a lot not in all of last week

•I was bullied, nothing proper was done until my Mam phoned the school about it

•New Headteacher introduction assembly, he's the "Always go out of your comfort zone!" Type

•Nearly finished Sonic Generations.

And a partridge in a pear tree!

(And people wonder why Shermaposting is just the same image daily.)

Today a small Hollow Knight creator has asked me to shout them out in Today' Shermapost.

However, the creator said that the links to their channel look like Sketchy black market links. So they prefer to do it with QR code.

Milestone 10

What.. what do I have to say? I'm simply... speechless.

Well, I do actually have one.. no 2 things to say.

(There's also a video to go along with this, but Reddit won't let me put it with this so I'll put the link to it here)

First (and the main point of this post), Hope is a lie.

The idea that if you just keep holding onto it, stay hopeful, that something good will happen if you just keep thinking is one of, if not the biggest lies in existence.

Often times, people say it because they don't care about your grievances. They can't be bothered dealing with problems. They don't care. And over time, staying hopeful can crush you more than depression ever could.

But that doesn't mean you shouldn't lack optimism.

Say things, and do things that you like. Be with people who bring you pure joy. Rant, vent, whine - do whatever. (The former is actually healthy) And for the love of you, don't do things because other people for doing them.

Like how I despise colouring with every fibre of my being, despite a lot of people I know liking colouring I don't colour.

Just do whatever brings you joy.

Second of all, with recent events regarding me I'm sure a lot of people have wondered...

Is u/OtherConstruction742 (me) quitting reddit?

And the answer to that is....

Situational, at best.

You see, I have absolutely no plans of quitting reddit whatsoever right now. Because there is genuinely good people and communities who are incredibly supportive to me.

But the Uk's ban on social media is, apparently, coming into affect tommorow.

Because, while I won't share my age, I am not willing to share a government Id or Selfie just to get into reddit. (Even if they claim to delete the photos instantly). (And banning social media is supposed to protect kids from p*rn)

So while I might be able to get through, There's also the chance that this is my last day on Reddit.

If so, I'm glad it could go out like this.

If not, for the next 100 days of Shermaposting!

Wait!

Why should we only celebrate a milestone like this for a day? Let's celebrate for a week! (Assuming the ban doesn't stop me on here)

Tommorow (under that assumption) will be a Q&A session where I'll answer YOUR questions.

He was cursed in being a Sonic forces character, so he wasn't written in a meaningful way. >!Besides, he just teleports away at the end of the game anyway.!<

Another chance for him where he's properly fleshed out would be excellent.
