Nimekuwa bila smarphone for one month now and I have been using a small kaduda I was given by someone. Sasa leo hata sijui nlikuwa naenda nini outside. Kidogo nyuma yangu naona vijanaa watano wakinifikia. Walinisimamisha wakanisho "rada" I had to give them my kaduda to avoid unecessary beating. Sai I'm phoneless but najua ipo siku.

My daughter developed oral thrush on Thursday last week. Since then, she has had limited feeding habit, making her lose about 4kg. As we speak, she does not even want anything to touch her mouth. She has been surviving on water and limited amount of milk. Took her to the hospital, got some antibiotic injections but up to date, nothing has changed in her mouth. She does not feed at all, with the tongue having white patches.

Anyone who has experienced this before, how did you go about it? Why is this so serious? She is 5 years old.

They say admitting is the first step in social resolution. So this is a story about my life. Personally since I was a lad, I have always hated alcohol and anything associated with it (Trauma from my dad's social life as a drunkard). But then things changed when I graduated from campus back in 2018.

I started drinking small but it manifested into heavy drinking. The problem is not the alcohol, the problem is the aftermath of drinking. I cannot count the number of times I have been beaten mercilessly in clubs and locals for being a foul mouthed twat after getting drunk.

When I get drunk, I become so violent with everyone around me. I abuse people and make them feel demeaned and feeble. I'm thin but I do not know what caurage I get after getting drunk to make people around me feel uncomfortable and unwelcomed.

Has any of you guys ever overcome this? I'm posting while in bed nursing some serious beating from last week.

Edit: I want to stop drinking if possible.

With the ongoing fiasco of school burning and unrest, I watched a guy on social media who purposely is a teacher, claiming that the unrest in boarding school is related to cases of lesbianism. Majority of those who suffer the most are the grade 10 students who get bullied by their senior members by forcing them into the act.

I may not be too knowledgeable but cases of
lesbianism have been rampant, some have even resulted into torching of schools
by students when they are denied a right for entertainment in school. It is
said that some women get so jealous when cheated on that they can kill. Maybe
this is what has contributed to the student unrest in boarding schools.

So apparently, there was a CCTV footage that captured what we believe to have caused the fire at Utumishi dormitory last week, resulting into loss of lives of more than 15 learners.

What baffles me is that some section of Kenyans are blaming the government/media for releasing AI CCTV footage. They believe the footage is fabricated to shift blame and avoid government/schools' accountability.

Another section of Kenyans are blaming the school/government for installing CCTV on the school dormitory. They claim dormitories are private premises and school girls shouldn't have CCTV installed in their dormitories.

On the other hand, parents who lost their daughters to the fire incident are demanding for justice.

I have always said this, in every society, there are two types of people. Those who believe in what they see and those who believe in what they have been told to believe.

This is a hard tacle but let me say this, if a grown up man cannot distinguish between a fabricated CCTV footage and a real one, then we have a long way to go.

May God comfort those who lost their kids through the inferno.
