I'm sure my story is not the only one out there but I really wish I at least had a picture. Back in 81-2 (I was 12) I called a small shop in California and ordered a Custom JMC Black Shadow. Found the ad in the back of BMXA. All Gold hardware, super light and awesome. Came with a Handwritten letter from the owner (I believe) listing all the parts, some extra stickers and a really nice Thank you. I rode it for a few years and moved on to less productive things heading in to High School. Pieced it out, sold off everything little by little. Very Sad. Anyway, just hoping someone can tell a similar sad tale so I can let it go..

Ok, I am not going to tell you a story about seeing barrels full of M1 carbines at Gun shows in the 80's for 300 bucks but what in the world is going on with M1 carbine prices? 3, 4, 5k ? Basic shooters for 2k? I came across a local dealer that bought a collection of like 150 M1's and they have them listed from 2500 to 4k. Happy for the collectors but really wonder what is driving this.

Hi all, When you can't use a Fountain pen what is your first pick? I know you can almost always make a Fountain pen work but I do find myself reaching for a "regular" pen from time to time. I still want to have a great writing experience so need some suggestions. Thank you!

Hi All, I was buying distilled gallons and using third wave packet, got tired of hauling and wasting so just purchased a 32 cup counter Zero water filter. Reco - had an issue with a slow filter called the hotline and they sent me 4 for my trouble. Thumbs up on customer service.

Question - I tested my tap water before filter, it was 185 tds, ran through filter, hit 0, added third wave packet to a gallon jug of the 0 water and it went up to 170. Am I good to go? Thank you

Hi OH/KY Shooters and anyone familiar with vendors at Cardinal center. Question - are their any vendors onsite that do stock finishing/checkering? Would love to be able to have my stock finished without shipping it off. Might be unrealistic but hoping to visit, leave it for a few days and pick it up during one of the upcoming events. Any thoughts or other reco would be appreciated.

Ultra minor anyone? What if all the big players started making full use rimfire pistols set up for uspsa, mags, guns, etc? If you drop the ammo price, availability, take away reloading complexity, picking up brass, etc. there might be more participation and bigger matches.

Seriously, why are we shooting defense capable rounds at paper targets? We already moved from 45 to 40 to 9, why not 22?

Hi all, does anyone know where I can find Costa Rica Las Lajas natural? It was the 6th day of the Onyx advent and I just enjoyed a dose I had stashed in my freezer collection. Was my favorite and would love to find a few pounds to stash away. Onyx push dit to archive and I can't find a source. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
