Just watched 47 for the first time. I absolutely loved it. Also it may have the coolest immunity necklace?

Really enjoyed this season. I hadn't seen it before as I'm a recent returnee to Survivor.

The blindsides are amazing, especially on one of the most annoying players of all time.

Operation Italy is 🧑‍🍳 🤌

I liked the edit and feel like it portrayed character growth throughout the game for multiple characters.

I absolutely underestimated people who later surprised me.

The tribals had me on the edge of my seat.

And I was happy with the result.

Very solid season, how do other folks feel? Also, come on, what a sick immunity necklace.

Mom's Toxic Exposure Claim - Stationed at APG/Edgewood in the late 70s

Looking for expert opinions for my mom's claim for conditions stemming from her toxic exposure. She served as a 92D Chemical Laboratory Specialist at Aberdeen Proving Ground (Edgewood Area) in the late 70's after the experiments, 78-79. She says she handled nerve agents (VX, Sarin) in the lab, and had to stick herself with atropine more than once after alarms went off. She also said they did PT/field exercises through areas that are now EPA Superfund sites on APG and the Edgewood area for Agent Orange, mustard gas, and many of the other nasty chemicals that were just dumped on the base until the early 70s.

She was previously denied service connection for hypothyroidism, pancreatic insufficiency, and Barrett's esophagus. She has current diagnoses and is treated for all three of them.

We're filing a supplemental for those three conditions with two theories of nexus: (1) direct toxic exposure to organophosphate nerve agents causing thyroid damage and pancreatic damage (supported by three peer-reviewed studies on PubMed showing organophosphate → hypothyroidism and organophosphate → pancreatitis), and (2) dioxin/herbicide agent exposure via the EPA-documented contamination at Edgewood tying hypothyroidism to PACT since the VA added hypothyroidism as a presumptive for Agent Orange/dioxin exposure in 2021. Barrett's esophagus is being claimed secondary to her service-connected Brunner's gland hypertrophy (same GI toxic damage cascade, different anatomical location — duodenum vs. esophagus). She's only seen at the VA and they won't write a nexus letter so we're relying on the EPA Superfund contaminant list and peer reviewed scholar articles describing the exposures and effects of the chemicals. Any red flags, suggestions, or experience with toxic exposure claims at APG Edgewood **(not for the human experiements)**specifically?

I've tried requesting her full service record in the past, but its just her DD214 and personnel file showing her AIT completion. I haven't been able to find documented specific exposures outside of the human trials until 75, but I'm betting the Army wasn't awesome at protecting soldiers at APG in the late 70's either.

Warhammer 40k Kill Team in Person?

Sup nerds. Are there any groups or meet ups to play Kill Team (or little hammer) locally? I've searched online, joined the Maine 40k Facebook group, and emailed some game shops but I haven't found a place to come play Kill Team in person.

Anyone know of regular get togethers to play, within 25min of Portland?

Immortal Legs?

I have built the Hierotek Circle and an extra Immortals box. I have plenty of torsos, guns, and heads left over but I need some extra legs. I've searched ebay and whatever came up with some googles but I can't find just the legs. Do folks have a lead on where I can specifically buy/make some legs for my extra skelly bois?

How will a tattoo design like this age?

I'm concerned that the detail will disappear in five - ten years. Are my worries founded?

Brad (@braddeathorglory) at Death or Glory Tattoos in Westbrook Maine.

I fix a lot of mechanical things. Cars, lawnmowers, etc. A little spray of brake cleaner, or penetrating oil is all you need. Don't over complicate the fix. Sometimes "Snake Oil" works.
