Great right? Sprocket already installed? But too small of course. Trying to remove it for the stock kit one, looks like a specialty tool is needed, i tried a hammer and flathead but just want to get some input before i start laying a heavier hand. It unscrews right? Or do i need to pull it with some sort of extractor.

Theres a crack clean through the spoke. I want to tig weld it, but wanted to make sure i wasnt missing an obvious alternative first. I google lens'd the center cap. Apparently the brand is enkei

So basically i wana be fast as f*ck boi, but i also wana be able to reasonable pedal it home in case of breakdown/run out of gas. Not tryna break the bank, because part of the thrill of this is keeping it relatively cheap with the "biggest bang". But getting tired of marketplace lol. Just wana buy it right out

I do want to acheive ~45mph through the necessary modifications to a 100cc china doll - but i think im gona stick with the traditional a-frame brakes, but upgrading to extended 70mm brake pads. Maybe getting some sort of disc brake conversions down the road as i see fit.

I will be using this to commute to work and get groceries. I have a car, but tryna spice things up a bit for my daily grind. Thanks!

2000 rav4 base - she just wont die yall.

Survived 3 totals from insurance. I gave them the 🖕 every time. Im almost lost her this last run. Got hit on the front right tip of bumper, which bent the frame to the left. Still cranked and ran, just couldnt drive it since the front wheels were sideways lol. First autobody guy accepted it, but left it sitting for the first 4 years. Searched another 1 years on the side for a trusted autobody guy who could do it for my budget.

I found one. Word of mouth, trusted by local wrenchers, revered even. Called him up. He accepts. Take my beloved rav4 (code name fred, the dyke), along with the parts vehicle (rav4 L, white) to his place of business at an odd hour and drop. Wait 1 week for his call to discuss how i want it done. That same 1 week later, get a call from his family. This guy i never actually met - just fixed it, then died of a heart attack all within a week. People said he was waiting for me before his time could come. It was lowkey strange. He just cut the nose off the parts vehicle, welded it on mine, and dipped. The sucker doesnt even need an alignment he was that good. The hood, fenders - immaculate. Lined up perfectly.

Anyways. Been parked in talledega, alabama for about 2 years pending jail time and getting back on my feet. She came home today. My linda, my fred, mi chula, ill never let you die... MWUAHAHAHAHA YOULL NEVER ESCAPE ME MY BELOVED RAV4.

Fyi, stuff like this is why your rav4 is so expensive now. Crashing the heck out of it is still no guarantee that itll die - but yea. You still have to crash it for it to die. Atleast for mi chula thats the case.

I came uncomfortably close to stepping on this little guy. Had his head cocked back looking straight up with a much more vibrant pattern on the underside. Stayed very still, but was absolutely alive and coherent with sudden movements and adjustments when taking pictures. Didnt want to get too close, we both had each other buggin and didnt want a hospital visit so sorry for the photos. Hope they are sufficient
