I have IBS. We aren’t in a situation where we might lose the house but for a couple weeks we can’t afford fancy food. Stuff like gluten free alternatives are expensive and anything dirt cheap hurts my stomach or is generally not too nutritious. What are some cheap low FODMAP foods, food brands, etc?

Anyways it’s very common that I watch like a sitcom type thing and see the “I hate my wife” trope, or even on like YouTube. Essentially the woman is the dominant one but is also a trad wife. Then she is portrayed as “no fun”, nagging, and controlling. Of course the man is being portrayed as someone whose life sucks because his wife doesn’t want him drinking or doing dangerous crap. Need I explain further? Then there’s the “hormonal” trope. Tik toks where a woman is apparently murderous and violent on her period or because the man didn’t wash his dish. Like I get it’s for comedy but come on. People get so mad when I point out how sexist it is because it is portrayed as comedy and “not that deep”. This trope came from anti feminist propaganda in the 1910’s to make people rethink giving women the right to vote because she would turn husbands into miserable maids (very hypocritical) and control them.
It’s actually so disgusting. My mom is 46 and just about every guy she’s tried dating broke up with her because she refused to have sex in the first month of dating. Mind you she is a widow and has four kids. Men around 40! It’s actually so fucking insane. Then they go around saying “oh I can’t find a trad wife” or “oh women don’t want to date me”. Take a good guess as to why!
Men are suddenly so interested in women’s sports when it comes to trans women. Like I’m sick and tired of it. Name one female athlete, hell even one female team. Likely they can’t because they are not concerned about women and are worried about discriminating against other women.
I know there are many Bible verse that somewhat say LGBTQ is wrong or rather can be interpreted that way. What is your best response or explanation as to why that Bible verse does not disaffirm LGBTQ.
I was born and raised in the Baptist church and after going on the journey of discovering I was trans, I strayed from god. A lot of it has to do with religious trauma but I know that there are Christian communities that do affirm LGBTQ. Now I want to get back into Christianity but don’t know where to start. I would say I’m a pretty lukewarm Christian right now. Any unique advice is welcomed. Tips on how to pray or different ways to read the Bible is wanted.

How dare they judge and show hatred towards trans and gay people. How dare they say that god hates them because of who they are. I hate it. It makes me so sick that people use a god of pure love and forgiveness as a way to justify prejudice. It makes my stomach curl that we have convinced ourselves that LGBTQ people are not humans deserving of love or not even humans period.
I’m a high schooler and summer is coming to an end. The male homosapiens most creative insult in the past million years has been “you’re fat” if you are a woman that isn’t skin and bones. I don’t pay mind to these lesser ants insults as they are meaningless and lack any originality however it would be nice to know some good comebacks.
No subscriptions and no paying up front. I do want one that can help me diet or maybe track calories but I’ll be happy as long as I have a meal planned in general

I keep calling out fan service and men always respond the same with men in shows are constantly shirtless as if that’s equivalent at all. Ivy in Arkham knights is literally in a thong and they think this is equivalent to the hulk being in only shorts. Then there are things like anime. There is a type of woman who is “fully grown” but made to appear like a child in the addition of fan service, called a loli. Yet there is no male equivalent. Women are often portrayed in harems yet it is rare that I see any male harems. The only example of fan service that I consider equal is Marvel Rivals. I’m sick of being gaslit into thinking that women are not sexualized. It’s disgusting and it needs to stop being normalized.

I’ve stopped watching supernatural for my own reasons and left off around when Castiel went crazy because of Lucifer. But what’s bugging me is when I see supernatural media and I just need to know why Castiel’s trench coat changed. Please spoil it for me so I can sleep at night lol
My family members are conservative Republicans and conservative Christians. My grandma is the main influence behind these strong views, and my mom is admittedly intimidated by her. While my mom is certainly more progressive than my grandma, she is still a Republican. I don’t want to force her to change her political views, but I do hope she follows God rather than my grandma, which might help her form her own independent beliefs. I also want to clarify that I’m nearly an adult, and my mother would never abuse or disown me.
I’m new to Christianity after leaving because of the prejudice so maybe I’m looking at this wrong.
My mom was handling one of our leopard geckos and she fell out and scurried under the fridge. I wasn’t there when it happened but she was super upset about it. We put our cat in a locked room and haven’t moved the fridge. Any advice on how to lure her out?

I am watching a show and I of course have a favorite character. The problem is that I get crazy upset when this character has any sexual interactions (kissing, flirting, sex in general). Now I’m watching an “older” show which I don’t usually watch. Because of this I am not used to characters have so many dry sexual relationships. I suppose it is jealousy and I don’t like the way it makes me feel. I’m looking for some clarity or some advice.
I was on YouTube shorts and there was this video about double standards for woman and the comment section was atrocious. Men misogynists whining because god forbid they weren’t the center of attention.
Also I just found this Reddit group and I’m so happy to see so many people just as angry as I am about the misogyny ❤️
I’ve been rewatching supernatural recently and honestly I personally think Castiel should’ve been Aroace. I like the Destiel ship and I think if he never perused sex or romance in the show that would’ve been fine. What are your guys thoughts?
