Came in a couple of weeks ago with questions about rigs and set ups. Got a lot of great advice and the past few weeks I have been crushing it. Thanks for everyone that help out!

I’ve been trying to get into Bass fishing after mainly fishing for Catfish for the past few years. Not quite sure why I haven’t been successful. I’m fishing artificial since I don’t have good access to night crawler or anything. Tried spinners, crank baits, jigs with swimmers and I can’t seem to land anything. I’ve tried doing casts towards more open water and under cover as well. This lake does not have a lot of plant growth on top where I could throw a top water lure like a frog.I’m not sure really what I’m doing wrong. I feel like I can go out and catch a catfish at will but cannot land a bass to save my life. For context I’ve put the place where I fish at below. I mainly fish after work around 5-6 pm.
