My 532 mile ride yesterday. 2013 Dyna FLD.

Oakland to Auburn to meet with a friend who rides a 2014 Chieftain. Pretty amazing bike! HUGE. We rode through the Sierras to Reno and parted ways, him to his cousin's and me to see another friend for lunch at Lake Topaz. Then hwy 89 to 4 all the way back to Oakland. Highway 4 is amazing if you are local and have yet to ride it. Highly recommend. Pic was taken at 8k feet at some small lake on Hwy 4. Bike did well. 2013 FLD with a stage 2 and 14" apes. After experimenting with a variety of seats, including a Saddlemen, I came across a used stock Dyna solo seat that my Harley mechanic had under some junk in his shop and to my surprise it's soooo perfect for me. Fixed the tear in the leather with some leather repair stuff and it looks good as new. Engine guard with highway pegs to stretch the legs. Buffeting was completely solved with cheapo fork fangs. Awaiting the arrival of Legends rears and cartridge emulators and springs for the front since no one makes cartridges any more for it. Very happy with the FLD! I was torn between a Road King and a Dyna, so I got the best of both worlds. This is such an incredible bike. It's perfect. I've done about 6k on it so far. About to hit 20k so it's time for engine mounts and while I am at it I will get the Sputh set up. God I love the feedback you get from the Dyna platform. It's so engaging.

True track type engine stabilizers on a Dyan. Are they a must?

I like twisties but I certainly don't push my FLD to its limits, but I do like to ride fast. I do not experience any wobbles. Is it a good preventative measure anyway?

Catch cans for Twin Cams. Yay or nay?

Will a catch can make the engine run better? Is it good for it? 2013 FLD with a stage 2. I was posting with another account until a few months ago when I got a new computer and it wouldn't accept my previous credentials, in case you recognize the bike and are wondering why I am using a different account.

Diving in the Cabo San Lucas area.

I am going to Cabo San Lucas for the first time and want to dive there. I am not an expert diver so I am looking for something the average person can handle. What are some interesting and beautiful spots? Any companies to recommend?
