my 20x is draining like it's 5x wtf happened this week

Doing similar work to what I always do, my 20x is dropping like a rock off a cliff.

This tells me OpenAI will probably give us a reset in 4 days and pretend they're doing us a favor.

Has anyone ever gotten an extension on a class that wasn't accelerated?

I only have one single class remaining for my entire degree, but it's an original course. I've already accelerated and completed later classes. My mentor seems to believe this is possible and doable, but I see many people on here say that, if it's an original course, you cannot get an extension.

(To clarify, I accelerated and completed the final 2 courses of my degree. The only course I haven't completed is an OA).

I don't understand. Do you not get more weekly data by switching from 5x to 20x?

I just upgraded my plan from 5x to 20x. And the weekly is draining jut as fast and I'm totally baffled.

Grok's problem is that it only beat other models at one thing. Now it's best at nothing

Grok had just one area truly cornered: entertainment.

You could entertain yourself, something that could be exercised in various ways and for various purposes.

It can't compare or compete with Codex or Claude at coding. So this was the one thing it had going for it across text, image, and video generation.

By throwing that away, it now stands as one of the most expensive models for baseline use ($30 versus $20 for chatgpt and $20 for Claude) while offering no compelling reason for a user to choose it.

What does Grok 4.5 have now that it is so censored? Why should someone's money be spent here as opposed to elsewhere?

These are the questions XAI just plain doesn't fucking having an answer for. They have become prudes and purists. And now they will lose business because they have lost their reason to even exist

This has to be the fastest I've ever run out of usage (PRO account + 2 plus)

The usage drain feels way different to me, and the messaging out of Open Ai has been inconsistent.

First, they tell us they're reverting to 5-hour windows (which I don't even want, btw). But then it mysteriously doesn't happen. Suddenly, my usage drains like sewer grate in the desert. It's just gone.

1 5X account and 2 1X accounts practically evaporate in a day of coding using medium.

There's some weird shit going on.

EDIT: I believe anyone who says their usage has improved. I also believe everyone who says it has gone down. This is because my usage was excellent during a week when many people on here claimed it was terrible.

I am devoutly certain OpenAI is running A|B experiments on us. It is not just possible, but likely, that most people are telling the truth and are correct about what they are experiencing and are NOT mistaken.

Grok 4.5 fucking sucks. I always threaten to cancel my membership, but this time I actually did it. If "no gunfights in fiction" is a rule, then the entire thing is just retarded. Even Chat GPT will write a scene with a gunfight, and chat GPT is the hall monitor's hall monitor

How stringent is WGU with gitlab when it comes to WHEN you commit and how many times you commit?

On my most recent PA, I really didn't do a good job on some of my previous commits. Do they only tend to look at the final submission (the one you submit via the link on the PA?) Or do they go back and say, "Wow, he waited too long before committing between these two).

I ask because the rubric stated I should be committing after each point, and I kind of didn't do that. But I don't know how I'd go back and fix that anyway.

Pressing X really fast on simulate (heavy bag) gives you extra skill points and fitness for free. This must surely be a bug, right?

If you press it once to use 3 days, then spam it REALLY fast the second time (has to be super fast) with your thumb, you can get 2,3,4, etc. training sessions in in just that one instant and the game doesn't seem to understand you're not supposed to be able to do this. My fighter is now in his prime, and I'm having no problem keeping up with skill points because I just spam X on training.

Too many bugs in this game.

EDIT FOR CLARITY

You start a week.

You go into sparring. You go down to heaybag.

You press X once which brings up drill or simulate.

You press either, doesn't matter. Let's say you press simulate. 3 days go by. Ok.

You bring up the menu again. You highlighted simulate.

Now, you press X as many times as you can AS FAST as you can.

What SHOULD happen is another 3 days pass leaving you with just one day remaining.

What WILL happen is ALL FOUR remaining days will be consumed, and you will get 16, 32, etc. Training points and extra fitness as though you just did multiple sessions.

That's the bug/glitch.

CONVERSELY, you can also press it really fast from day 1 to just get both done really quickly (leaving you with 1 day remaining) as this is just a shortcut not a cheat if done in that way. But if you do it on day 3, it's CLEARLY cheating.

Hope this makes more sense.

I don't know to make and upload clips from my PS5 since I am a PC gamer and only even got the console because I love UFC so much lmao

I've seen a number of people mention a KREA2 workflow that uses raw then switches to turbo after a few steps. Does anyone have it or know where it is?

I've searched a bit but can't seem to find it. Anyone know how to get a hold of this workflow? Please and TY!

EDIT: I found it.

How are you guys finding LORA training in Krea 2?

I trained my first LORA in it using a 120-image dataset I've used for many previous LORA. I'm not enthused with the results. I find that it takes away a lot of the realism of the model, but this was trained using raw.

The LORA is a pose/concept LORA, and the dataset contains a wide array of different images, everything from IRL to style. I can't discuss too much more than that because it drifts into "not allowed" territory.

But the LORA does work. It just hurts the overall image quality and makes it look plasticky and fake.

How have you guys been faring?

EDIT

I've gotten quality to go up a lot by using the turbo model instead of the raw. Not for training, but for inference.

I was both training and generating using the raw (50 steps, 3cfg).

Switched to turbo (8 steps, 1cg) and it's actually a shockingly huge improvement. It seems like the base model just doesn't look as good as the turbo. It's counterintuitive, because you'd think 50 steps + CFG would give you a better result, but for some reason, it doesn't.

Decided to finally try Mariana Engine, but I'm confused: where are all the sampler settings?

For some reason, I can only select 32k ctx with a model that can support 256k (button is greyed out if higher than 32k) and I only have the most absolute basic sampler settings. No repetition penalty, no min p, etc.

Every since like 2-3 weeks ago (after updating) I now have to cancel my first generation each time I load comfy or else it's too slow

I updated to try Ideogram and the new updates are just awful. Not only does the first generation (no matter what I'm using) take 50x as long, if I change LORA strength, it also takes like 10x as long to get to the next generation.

Rolling back the update fixes this, but then I can't use Ideogram. I don't know why comfy always makes these little structural changes that do nothing but screw everything up.

EDIT: After testing some more, changing the lORA strength adds 52 to 55 seconds onto my next generation. It's just BS. I don't know why they do this.

Does afib become more likely after a year?

I have had exactly 3 afib events spaced MOSTLY around the year mark, each one lasting for about 2-7 hours.

My last one was on June 12, 2025, and like the other 2, it resolved on its own after about 7 hours.

As I get closer to June 12 and the 1 year mark, I am finding myself more and more paranoid that the chance/likelihood of my next event is hugely increased because I'm due for another one, as paroxysmal afib (according to what i read) typically starts as a yearly occurrence, and it's almost a year.

Should I expect something in the next month or two?

How is it even possible that Ani is still not in Android. Do the Android devs just not have any talent/skill?

We are now approaching a year, and STILL, Android users pay the same price for LESS service!

As someone who can already run most of the larger models (RTX 5090) I'm extremely glad I gave Anima Base a chance

I'll be honest. I didn't expect much from a 2B parameter model. I had initially written it off as being not worth the time simply because I had access to such powerful models with much higher parameter counts. I didn't see how it could possibly outdo what I already had. But wow, they really did one hell of a job on this, and I find that it produces better anime images (with easier prompting) than most of what's out there.

It doesn't suffer from a lot of the NLP problems where you get near identical outputs each time. It reminds me more of the SDXL / Pony era where you could give a general idea of what you wanted with tags (or yes NLP as well) and the model itself would find a way to make it interesting. This is one of those models where you don't even need an LLM to rewrite your prompts. Just give it a general direction and let it go.

The fact that it can understand NLP means it has a lot of the strengths of the older models without the weakness of getting shit confused. Like a blue hat and a red hat and 2 orange hats.

I haven't used my quest in a few months. I turned it on today and the experience is absolutely destroyed. I don't mean hindered or worsened. I mean that the device may as well be a paperweight.

Every single last thing I liked or cared about is gone. There was this one app where I could watch thousands of amazingly cool VR videos, rollercoasters, etc. And it’s just like GONE.

The various windows and displays: gone.

They took like 90% of everything away and reduced it to one tiny screen that darknes your passthrough when it pops up.

Is there anyway to get rid of this awful, awful update?
