Where to reliably buy vintage cards?

HI all - I am a life long collector (I guess I got my first pack in 1979) and then stopped during the junk wax era and came back to sports cards (mostly baseball) during Covid. My son and I are both interested in collected vintage cards and for me it is a great way to spend time with him. Where do you all buy vintage cards? I guess I am looking for somewhere online where I can trust the seller and still get a good deal if possible. COMC? Ebay? Is there a particular Facebook group that is trusted? Something else? We do visit any local card shops but they seem to have mostly new stuff. Thanks in advance I really appreciate it!

How much low quality screen time do you allow for a 14 / 15 year old?

When I say low quality screen time - in my opinion I am talking about video games, youtube / tik tok, social media. I am not as worried if my kid is watching a regular slow moving tv show or movie with a plot.

My 14 year old is going into 9th grade. He is doing pretty well in school and he is active in sports but all the rest of the time he just wants to play video games, text or watch youtube. Feels like all the time that he isn't doing homework or playing sports. Doesn't feel as bad in the school year because he does work pretty hard but this summer has been a battle and he'd be happy to spend 14 straight hours on crap screentime. For those of you with kids around 14-15 years old, how much screentime or video game time are you allowing per day? I will add that I teach high school and my students seem to just use their phones or play video games all the time when they aren't in class, which has further confused me. I have no idea what is reasonable anymore. Appreciate any thoughts and good luck to you all!

Edit - he gets no social media. Closest to that is youtube or group texts.

Verizon Fios 300 MBPS vs Spectrum 1 GB & is 300 enough for my use?

Currently have Spectrum 1 GB home internet for $60 a month. I can get FIOS 300 mbps right now for $35 a month. Any idea how the those two services would compare? I am guessing Fios is going to be better. We have 3 people in the house including a teen who plays too much Rocket League. We stream our TV channels (when he isn't playing) to our one TV in the house. Otherwise it is light use. Maybe occasionally he is playing and one of us could be watching something on an iPad or phone. Almost made the switch today until the Verizon rep said I should probably do the plan that is $60 a month (maybe it was the 500 mbps FIOS plan). Thanks for any insight, it is appreciated.

T-mobile Tuesday Deals Questions

Okay I am brand new to T-Mobile and I still don't really get the rewards program. I get that I can only use the movie ticket promo once a month (calendar month?). But some of the others like a Big Gulp or a free 20-ounce soda - I go to claim it and it says " "Are you sure? Once you tap select the other option will no longer be available". What are they talking about? What other option won't be available? I totally don't understand how these work. Does this program go by the calendar month? Can I only use each promo once a month? I see the fine print that I have until 8/4 to redeem. With all these promos is it just use it once in a calendar month and if that is the case I guess I should just redeem them all now - sine I am new as of Tuesday I only redeemed the movie ticket deal. Thanks!

Using a service to help me get my Italian Citizenship recognized. Any recommendations on services or firms?

HI - I qualify for dual Italian and US citizenship and I am starting the process of getting my Italian Citizenship recognized. I know with how busy I am between work and home that I will never get this done in time on my own. I am interested in hiring someone to help me get this all done. I have heard a lot of complaints about a lot of these firms/businesses who help people with this. Is there a very reputable company out there I should be contacting? Anyone have any experience with this sort of thing? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Can anyone recommend reputable firms or groups who can help me get my Italian Citizenship officially recognized?

Hi - With the minor rule gone and the fact that I made an appointment at a US Consulate in 2023 for 2028 it looks like I am back in business for being able to get my Italian Citizenship recognized. I know with how busy I am between work and home that I will never get this done in time on my own. I am interested in hiring someone to help me get this all done. I have heard a lot of complaints about a lot of these firms/businesses who help people with this. Is there a very reputable company out there I should be contacting? I assume one in Italy? Or one in the US? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Movie Ticket Tuesday - how long do we have to actually use the promo code?

I am a new and pretty happy T-Mobile user. I got the promo codes for each of our phones for the $5 tickets to the spider man movie. How long can I wait to use it? Like will it expire in a few days? Do I have a week? I am hoping to hold off until I know when we want to go. Thanks!

ETFs that are between a standard REIT & actually passively investing in a handful of properties (like from Arrive)?

Hi I am not looking for investment advice. I am Interested in learning about how or if one can incorporate more of the real estate world into their investment portfolio without directly getting into real estate or doing real estate syndication. Are there classes of funds that just focus on say hundreds or thousands of real estate properties (rentals, single family, maybe commercial) and their rental income and/or appreciation or deprecation of property? Something that goes beyond a regular REIT like VNQ, but also is not putting up money in a 7 year time line for a handful of properties. How does one put money in the real estate market through an ETF? Thanks in advance, I appreciate it. Just learning right now and I hope this makes sense.

Thoughts on Arrived Real Estate Income Fund?

Anyone have any thoughts on Arrived's Real Estate Income Fund? It has a lifetime (only 2 years) 8.5% yield which I know isn't as high as the SP500 but it must offer some diversification value? Not sure how risky the investment is for that return though. Or if one is looking to get more real estate exposure in their portfolio is there something generally considered to be better?

Thanks in advance

Which fit is the best quality?

I am interested in buying a few shirts and I am looking for a shirt fit that is not boxy or stiff. Which kind should I get? I saw some questionable reviews about the premium. Any help or advice appreciated.

Teepublic Shirt Fabric Quality?

I want to buy a few custom shirts like they sell on Teepublic. I have bought in the past and was happy. I am reading that their fabric quality changed and went down. Can anyone speak to this? If I bought on Teepublic what fit/style would get me the best quality shirt so that it isn't stiff and boxy? Or is there another site I should be looking at? Thanks. Buying a new Mazda 3 Hatchback - what % of MSRP?

Hi - we are thinking about getting a new Mazda 3 Hatchback 2.5 s select sport. MSRP is around $26,500 Destination Fees $1200. Doc fee $600. This is in the North East. What percent off would you expect to get off MSRP? I will be patient and shop around and get quotes from a few dealers, maybe call and/or email around. The car/trim we want seems to be pretty popular and cars have been selling (or disappearing from inventory) at least where we are. Not sure how much we can get off the car and what can be done about destination and doc fees. Thanks in advance for any advice.
