Presenting the idea of ITPAI. A non political citizen’s body made of income tax payers asking the right questions. What say?

No, I haven’t made the actual body/organisation. Just floating the idea. I’ve seen how infrastructure is in cities abroad and how many in Africa, Asia and South America are way more advanced than our 4th world crap while we keep paying for nothing.

We will fight Zerodha/Groww if 0.05% went missing on our equity or think endlessly about credit card points or tax saving methods but ignore the daylight robbery conducted right under our noses for a huge massive chunk of our CTC salary.

Just floating the idea for now.

I absolutely don’t want this to be about Party vs Party BS. Most if not all politicians, ministers and authorities are gobbling cash and power irrespective of party. We all know it.

I alone don’t have the leadership qualities or the vision to carry this forward. Not politician material myself, in fact, just tired of them.

This post is an idea. A spark. A start.

Please save and download before it is taken down.
The logo, the name, and the core ideals below.
Continue it.

❗️ Core ideals:
A. ITPAI is purely a citizen’s nonpolitical body. It is made up of normal citizens and not by politicians.
B. ITPAI is about demanding accountability for the taxes accumulated, how they are allocated and how they are spent and made by centre, state, govt bodies and local municipalities.
C. ITPAI is not about political parties or Party politics but about administration. It is non partisan. We are not aligned towards or against any party per se. We question everything and everyone.
D. ITPAI will take a leaf out of similar citizen bodies for accountability that were made in democracies around the world. Just like our constitution was written by looking at best practices.
E. ITPAI is by the citizens, of the citizens and for the citizens. Not limited to any age range/generation, any state or language, caste, gender, religion or race.
F. ITPAI is made up of 100% patriotic, true blooded Indians and stands for better progress, better infrastructure and better accountability.
G. ITPAI is tech driven and modern in practice. We want to use the latest tech to track promises, work done, timelines, quality of work, bust lies etc.
H. ITPAI is not interested in who is in power. But it is more about asking the right questions to whoever is in power.
I. ITPAI itself will never turn into a bureaucracy with a few at the helm. While it can take the shape of an organisation, it will never be about a few people and their fame/influence. They will only represent the interests of the development tax payers want to see. Hence absolute power to one or a small group shall never be the motive.
J. ITPAI itself shall always be open to scrutiny, constructive criticism, accountability, transparency and questions all the time.
K. ITPAI and its followers/members will constantly study the quality of infrastructure, services, facilities etc given to the people in other countries and compare with our own here in India and compile reports subjectively.
L. ITPAI will exist as long as Income Tax exists in India. The day Income tax is abolished, ITPAI dissolves. Until then we stay. Until then we ask questions. We demand answers.
M. ITPAI will always distance itself from all and any political party or politician and not get tangled in party vs party political drama. ITPAI is not interested in politics but in better administration.
N. ITPAI will always stand for a United, Progressive, Clean, Beautiful, Just and Developed India.
O. ITPAI will never represent only certain sections of this country but the country as a whole.
P. ITPAI’s followers will always stand strong and oppose any attempts to derail the efforts and will not allow nonsense.
Q. ITPAI is only by, of and for resident Citizens of India and Indian Passport holders only.

What’s the most savage mail or message, you or anyone you know, has sent as a response to getting ghosted after a long job interview process?

The title.

Just curious. It’s really sickening to see the tone deafness from Recruiting coordinators, TA teams and HMs to get ghosted after in person interviews, multiple rounds, case study assignments or a mixture of all. I know it isn’t new but it is more widespread now.

Do you know of any savage instances where this was countered?

Supporting a political party in India, feels like Indians supporting a nation at the FIFA World Cup. They’re not us, neither do they care about us.

Just a reflection given we are living in these times now in 2026.

There are some parallels between us Indians supporting some random nation at the FIFA World Cup every 4 years and elect some random political party every 5 years.

- In both cases it is a compulsion as we have really no other choice.
- In both cases they don’t know who you are no matter how much of a die hard fan you are.
- In both cases, hundreds of millions have prayed that we get to support who we really want to see in action.
- In both cases, they are not us.
- In both cases, they don’t represent us.
- In both cases after all the drama, they walk to their mercs, bmws, Lambos and bungalows with millions if not billions in the bank while we continue being us.
- In both cases they don’t care about us.

In the end, it doesn’t even matter.

Will India win 1-2 Olympics gold medals in cricket in 2028? How are we shaping up?

I think everyone will have very high expectations from the Indian teams and to win nothing but Gold.

Maybe a disappointing consolation to finish on the podium with any other metal colours.

The 2028 Olympics in Los Angeles will have cricket as a sport for the first time. (Technically for the first time since 1902).

In the on going FIFA World Cup discussions too, non Indians too keep talking on social about how we’re great at cricket. So even there the expectations will be high.

It can’t be taken for granted though just like USA cannot be guaranteed a gold in Basketball or Canada in Ice Hockey.

Heck, I feel cricket is much more competitive. The Aussies and the English/British come to mind on top teams who can snatch those Golds and silvers from us.

Thoughts?

Guys, all residents of Bengaluru can have tax free life if cops heavily monitor and fine just these two wrong way abused routes.

Naah I’m serious. Instead of increasing central, state and income taxes just fining even half of these buffoons who drive wrong side here (red arrows) on this intersection and like Dubai and Saudi we can be tax free.

The amount of rascals going wrong way here each day can fill the Chinnaswamy stadium + Kanteerava stadium and even the new proposed stadium.

Thuuu. Horrible condition.

We really need this in Bengaluru too. Especially from November to March months.

Needed in all Indian cities but this is our city in discussion. With FAR revised, I expect more construction. At the very least for 5 months of the year - Nov 1 to Mar 31 - police must issue arrest warrants for construction site supervisors/owners continuing without this cladding.

Sad thing is people start choking, sharing AQI maps, etc only when it starts. The work and thinking needs to happen now.

How do we ensure this rule is imposed in BLR as well? And strictly.

Hope mods wont delete this saying not relevant to defence.

This is defence! Border security.

The BSF and the border absolutely needs to be taken up on a WAR footing. With top of the line technology, weapons, vehicles and resources.

No more casually strolling into our lands! No less from those lands where there has been open calls for our end.

Important Disclaimer: People who will comment and get to dry humour whining with negativity and cynicism, please keep doom scrolling. Sorry to have disturbed you. You’re not needed here.

For the others - Let’s do something to make Indiranagar as the model place for the rest of India to follow. Educate people on standardised rules, road markings, etc.

I would like to launch an initiative here. Name and more details to follow. But first want to test the waters, get reactions and some ideas.

I’ve travelled across India to all major tier 1 and 2 cities. And some 35 cities abroad in 20 nations including developed and developing.

Stating this because as a resident citizen, it is no secret that our country’s cities are not even top 150 of the world in terms of cleanliness, walkability, infrastructure etc.

But Indiranagar gives me hope.

Yes. 80feet road always used to be a cut above the rest for quite a few years. And recently CMH road and 100feet road also gives me even more hope.

We all know what happens when we leave it to the politicians, BBMP/GBA, the MLAs and the Netas and the Babus alone.

We can’t go down in history as the coward generation that had no spine.

We need to get together as citizens and not just demand, but action better infrastructure in our own areas.

We apparently live in one of the most high net worth, posh, highly educated pin codes of the Republic of India. Hence change for better standards begins with us actioning things.

Two points from my side:

  1. Better standardisation of things like road markings - People still struggle to cross 100feet road. No zebra markings. No crossing spots. Nothing. No parking markings either.
No road markings for directions like entry into flyovers, for no entry marking etc.

  2. Standardisation of areas. 80ft, 100ft, CMH are all cool. What about other roads? 12th main, 6th main and the others?

This is how many countries such as Japan, China, Thailand, Malaysia started improving. Area by area.
So what can we do for Indiranagar?

How can we make it a model area for the rest of Bangalore to follow and the rest of India to follow?

Such an understated part of road infrastructure. People who have travelled, lived and driven abroad would know.

Yes people will come back saying first make roads. Agree. But after that road marking is also damn important. And there is corruption there too as paint money is allotted.

Everyone shares video of north east and south east asia of discipline. But without the most basic of road markings like divider partition and the shoulders, pedestrian crossing etc it is will be difficult to follow or enforce any disciplined driving.

Good to see at least such a key central main road in Bengaluru get this. It’s not new I know. But needs to be the norm and the standard.

When Indian city authorities visit international countries with families for leisure mostly using our tax money, I wish they atleast see the massive gap in terms of quality of our roads and infrastructure and feel some iota of shame.
