Like I just got him, but is he worth even using anymore. The only time I see him is the occasion war defense or in arena and my straight Symbiote 6 can usually pull a win out fairly easily as long as i can remove taunt from a Reed Richard's.
Can't link my Nintendo id to my old 3DS I had prior to losing my 3DS XL. Called Nintendo and because its not a major or recent system there is nothing they can do. My only option available to me is a system transfer but I have to have both systems in my possession.

I want to say the book was called something like Operation: Fire Storm or something and was around 350+ pages. I remember it being fairly thick
I vaguely remember the cover having a forest and fire with a close up faded image of a soldiers face wearing camo facepaint that blended in with the fire
I think the opening chapter or chapters of the book was a flashback. The main character was a solder in a group sent to sneak in somewhere. I remember them giving each other code names and they were all wrestling themed. One guy was called Taz, they nicknamed another BamBam because he was a big guy with tattoos across his head.
I think the main character then later on became a special forces and was haunted by the event that lost him the group he was in the beginning of the book with.
NE ohio here. I got a good house last year and I can tell how much better it is than my old drafty apartment.
For the most part I got away with having to heat it a lot less than I did at the apartment I had, which also used electric baseboard heaters. But I had to rin them so much to even stay comfortable so my bills were always $300+ for electric for a few months in the winter.
Well my first winter in the new house was much harder than the winters in the apartment. For the most part the house has good insulation and isnt as drafty so I didnt have to run them like I did in the apartment. But this past winter had a lot more days with temps in the single digits or even negative digits than the winter before. So between December and February my electric bills were almost $1k.
Are minisplits worth the investment? I know when I first moved in I had a quote from a company called A to Z plumbing and they said 3 units would be between $12000-$14000 and my monthly payment would be around $160-$200 a month.
I thought about it but decided to test my first winter and see how the house did in the cold ajd what my average bills would be. For example running my thru-the-wall ac unit in the living room ALL day and night my bills at the time ranged between $50-$80 bucks.
So i didnt want to spend more than $200 a month for several years just to avoid high prices in the winter if i could help it.
Then i saw just to stay at a comfortable temp for myself, pets and my pipes it was almost 1 grand for just 3 months
This is quite possibly one of the dumbest things I've ever had an argument here, but I just have to ask....
So my girlfriend and I have been dating almost 2 years now, or a little more. Well she lives almost 4 hours away, so we only see each other once in a while. She comes out to my place and stays for anywhere from a week to two weeks when she does.
Well back in January my buddy and his brother asked me to join a DND campaign being hosted by one of their friendsover Discord. In that campaign was a few of their friends, and friends of the host. I only know my buddy and his brother. Counting the DM and players, there is 9 of us. Because of this we have only been able to have 3 sessions so far. So many of us have conflicting schedules so its rare to have a night off we all share.
The last session we had was kind of organized last minute and it got scheduled a few days before my gf came out, and would take place on a day she was here. I told her of this, explained id be busy for a few hours and that was the only night id have plans. She got upset, because I had made plans for the time she was over(which was literally 15 days btw) and it led to a stupid argument. I tried telling her im allowed to make other plans and that I tried explaining it wasnt intentional it was just randomly planned as we all had time off. That she can set aside 4-5 hours out of her 2 weeks here for me to play with friends. More fighting occurs before she asks if she can join. I say i dont know, its not my campaign. I asked the DM and he said no, this is his first time DMing and he vastly overestimated how difficult it would be, especially since its an 8 player campaign, but if it was less players hed be okay
She didnt like it, but let it go. But made it clear she wasnt happyThis was almost 3 weeks ago.
Last weekend I went to her place for her birthday. She asks if she can come out for a week sometime next month. I said sure, of course. But I warned her that while we didnt have a specific weekend set up, we had stated we were going to try for another session this August. This led to a small argument before we just changed subjects. Of course tonight she told me the dates she wants to come over and of course its hours after we all decided on a specific Saturday night and of course its the weekend she wants to come over.
This led to a stupidly large fight tonight over it. Shes mad I wont cancel on the session. Shes also mad I wont ask to reschedule. I tried explaining that it isnt just me, its 8 other people who are playing. I cant ask them to reschedule because she doesnt want me to go off by myself for a small handful of hours.
She asked if she can sit in my office while i played because she doesnt want tonbe alone. I said no, because we tried that the last time she was over and she wouldnt stay quiet. She kept trying to talk about....literally whatever was on her mind while i was playing. Tried telling her that with 8 other voices in my ears she was making it incredibly hard to focus. She didnt stop, she just kept trying to get my attention so literally more than half the session i wasnt even able to play becauae she wouldnt leave me alone. So this led to more fightinf when i told her no, that she could play her games in the living room or watch tv. She started accusing me of not caring about the time and money she puts into coming to see me, or how long it takes her to drive out here. Which obviously isn't true. But shes mad that she can't play with us even though I explained why.
North west Ohio. Its 71 degrees outside and 89% humidity. , its 85 degrees in her apartment right now. Im dying. She has two humidifiers running and these things are throwing off so much damn heat its insane.
Shes absolutely terrified mold will grow immediately and mess her asthma up. She has a NICE apartment. Its newer amd there's absolutely no signs of mold or water damage anywhere.
I convinced her to turn tjem off for an hour and the temperature dropped by 6 degrees inside. Shes had them on for 10 minutes now and its back up by 2 degrees. These things are literal space heaters.
Like dialogue, fighting, music, combat sounds all sound great. But its the background noise thats kinda not there.
I barely hear the wind and waves while sailing. Nor the creaking and moaning of the ship.
Walking thru towns I can hear some dialogue and stuff from the crowds but thats about it. Its really quiet. Theres hardly any crowd noise, or sound effects from stalls or people working on the docks.
Like i was playing Rogue last week and it feels like the sound is way more realistic than this. This one it feels like the only sound you can hear is what you'd hear if someone were using a boom mic.
I messed around with the settings but so far haven't noticed anything different.
My boy, Oliver did a little over a month ago. Ive had him almost a year now, and with the exception of a few times where my gf was over, he slept up on the bedt next to me, or curled behind my feet. Didnt care about his bed at all.
Suddenly a month ago it just changed. He wont sleep on the bed anymore at all if im in it. Occasionally I might be able to convince him to get up and after a few minites he huffs and puffs and gets back down to lay on his bed.
But the moment I get up to grab some water, use the bathroom or shower, hes instantly waking up from a dead sleep on the floor to steal my spot on the bed.
Long weekend with the girlfriend, we traveled to the Serpent Mound almost 6 hours away for the Summer Solstice celebration. So i boarded Oliver Friday afternoon.
Go to get Oliver back from Doggy Daycare this morning, and the lady that checked him out was the same one I checked him in with.
She comes from the back, put her hands on her head in like exasperation and just goes
"So your boy....he is certifiably insane."
Im like instantly thinking the worst, and asked her " oh no what did he do?!" Expecting to hear the worst, that he bit someone, or got in a fight with another dog. "
She says he did nothing wrong. She just thought I was exaggerating when I dropped him off and described his escape attempts. She told me they had him in one of the lower suites and they came back Sunday morning to let everyone out and check on them. And he was no where to be found in his crate. He had somehow pushed the bottom boards of the kennel above him out of the way, climbed up into the empty kennel and then somehow climbed over the top of the gate in that into a neighboring dogs top kennel 2 doors away.
And he didnt do anything to that dog. She said all he did was commander her bed and left this tiny Maltese to sleep in the corner absolutely confused as to who this stranger was that appeared from nowhere and stole her bed.
So they had to upgrade him to a kennel usually meant for dogs double his size and strength. Told me that otherwise he was an absolute angel and one of the sweetest dogs they've had in a while.
I was just glad he didnt hurt anyone else or himself. So to hear he houdini-ed his way out of his kennel into a kennel above him and then climbed thru 2 more just to steal someone else's bed is insane. Especially since ive seen the kennels. They have like 6 inches of clearance from the roof and chain link and its like 6 feet high from the bottom to the top of the kennel.
Also, does anyone know a good site to get custom dog costumes made? My mates dog is his best friend, and she is a 90+ pound Rottweiler named Lita. I joked with my friend and told him for Halloween we should dress the two of them as Mister Miracle and his wife, Big Barda from DC Comics.
So i didnt realize til tonight(level 401), that legendary perks dont swap when you switch loadouts. Ive slowly been getting all the SPECIAL oerk cards to rank 5. But a few are only level 2 or 3. So ive been running, for the past 100+ levels an EXP build solely trying to level up the perks.
But occasionally id swap back and forth between my normal everyday PA build for events or what have you. Or swap to my bloodied build just to run around playing with my Bloodied black powdered weapons when im bored.

Didnt realize til tonight when I went to finally spent my 100+ perk coins and open my perk packs to turn them into perk coins that on all my builds but my exp build, I was missing multiple perk cards.

Went thru and made myself a text document so whenever I swap I can pull it up ajd see what legendary special cards I have normally for that build, as well as perks
I am newish to computers and modding in general but ive got well over a dozen mods for my game. Ive no issues starting a new save over as once I got to the Wasteland Biome the game kinda got boring. Harder yeah, but not as hard and stressful as early games.

So i imagine most mods wont be updated to match the new update number, right? Should I just clear them all out and delete my save?

I never knew there was anything under the rocks you see on the surface. So I have never mined past that. Until earlier when it finally dawned on me, the ground below the iron deposit I just broke apart with my augur was the same color. Nearly lost my shit when I got over 8k iron in less than a minute.
Ive been running around mining for hours now. I have been seriously hating blood moons because of how much damn ammo I blow thru each night and how I would spend the next 7 days just farming materials to repair my base and craft ammo. I would spend entire days dismantling cars, street lamps, anything metal just for iron. Would run around looking for dead bodies just for nitrate for gunpowder. Ive been confused this entire time how people could even afford to have a base outside of the burnt forest for coal. I spent 2 days grinding 2k coal just to blow thru it all in mere minutes crafting gunpowder. I did get way to carried away at one point farming iron and dug so deep i got lost and struggled to find my way out without dying to a cave in. Then found out I had summoned screamers and had to fight off 2 or 3 hordes in my small cramped cave. Barely survived that.
Im now sitting on boxes and boxes of just coal, nitrate, lead and iron and my 4 forges cant keep up. On the brightside I went from never having more than maybe 1-2k ammo between my 4 guns to now having an entire fully upgraded steel storage box of hundreds of boxes of individual ammo. I can actually get out and explore, grind quests and challenges instead of farming.
So I got an offer for a CCA out of the youngstown office by YSU.
Still waiting on my Orientation date.
But almost 4 years ago I had a TBI induced stroke from a minor car accident. Took me the better part of a year before I was "recovered". My short term memory used to be really bad, I used to get lightheaded and fatigued more often than used to. And sometimes id have an issue and have to focus on my numbers and letters harder.
Im at the point now where I think thats an issue ive mostly recovered from. Not on meds, not seeing doctors/specialists in over a year almost 2. Short term memory has returned but isnt quite what it used to be. My job has me walking 6-8 miles a day as it is. Sometimes I get mentally fatigued quicker than I used to which means im tired quicker than I used to be.
Sometimes I do space out for a few seconds but thats about it.
Is this a job i might struggle with? To be honest im still learning more about myself after my accident but I feel confident when I say I crossed the worst of it.
I did have a 30 minute call the other day with someone from their medical department or whatever and I mentioned all this to her. And she said usually they recommend people see a doctor before they come on board depending on the answers they gave her. But she wasnt feeling those flags with me so she was going to change my yes on the question that was basically "do you have any medical conditions you might need accommodations for?" to a no.
I do have some hangups about it. Like when I got my fingerprints done the lady said the scheduling isnt consistent. Some weeks it could be 60 hours, the next 8. So im a bit hesitant on that. But I feel like Youngstown is big and busy enough that might not happen.
Im not spending 400 dollars on 2 books. Especially seeing as each book is fairly small for an omnibus. Honestly just a reprint in general. Rise of RAAM is also well over 100 bucks despite only being 96 pages in length
My spare bedroom has 2 baseboard heaters in it, one one one wall under the window, the other on the next wall over. The one under the window doesnt work. Doesn't turn on, make noise, nothing. The other works just fine. There's no thermostats or power switches on either of them(that I can see). Like the other 3 sets of baseboard heaters(pairs in each room), its operated by the dial thermostat on the wall by the door.
