Hi everyone,
I’m 25M and I’ve been dealing with significant hair loss for quite some time. It’s not limited to my scalp I’ve noticed extreme hair loss from my scalp, beard/moustache, eyebrows and other body areas.
I recently had blood tests to investigate possible causes.
My main results are:
TSH: 20.404 µIU/mL ↑
Vitamin D: 10.6 ng/mL ↓
Folate/B9: 0.25 ng/mL ↓
Vitamin B12: 267 pg/mL borderline low
Zinc: 151 µg/dL ↑
Ferritin: 116.2 ng/mL
Iron: 97.16 µg/dL
DHT: 210.49 pg/mL - within my lab’s reference range but think it’s borderline low
Hemoglobin: 16.3 g/dL
CRP: 0.88 mg/L
ANA: Negative
I’m currently not taking any medications or supplements.
I also have:
Difficulty sleeping at night
Usually fall asleep around 2–4 AM
Sleepiness almost all day
Constant tiredness/low energy
Very low motivation
Difficulty concentrating
Trouble memorizing things
Brain fog
Difficulty studying and retaining information
I’m particularly concerned about the combination of very high TSH, severe vitamin D deficiency and extremely low folate.
I’m planning to see an endocrinologist first and then a dermatologist.
P.S. I used ChatGPT to help write this post and organize my results; the symptoms and lab results are mine.
Hi everyone,
I recently had blood tests because of Extreme hair loss, fatigue, sleep problems and difficulty concentrating.
My Vitamin B12 came back at 267 pg/mL. My lab’s reference range is 211–911, so technically it’s within range, but it’s relatively low.
My folate/B9 is 0.25 ng/mL.
Other results:
Vitamin D: 10.6 ng/mL
TSH: 20.404 µIU/mL
Hemoglobin: 16.3 g/dL
MCV: 95.7 fL
Ferritin: 116.2 ng/mL
I’m currently not taking any medications or supplements.
My symptoms are:
Extreme hair loss from all over body
I can’t sleep at night and usually fall asleep around 2–4 AM
I’m sleepy almost all day
Very low motivation
Difficulty concentrating
Trouble memorizing and retaining what I study
Persistent fatigue/low energy
I don’t have anemia according to my CBC.
I’m wondering whether the combination of B12 267 + folate 0.25 could be contributing to these symptoms.
I’m going to discuss this with my doctor, but I’d appreciate hearing from people who’ve experienced something similar.
P.S. I used ChatGPT to help write this post and organize my results; the symptoms and lab results are mine.
How to much time it takes to complete Maths Advance Portion from Bhutesh sir
Hi everyone,
I’ve been experiencing significant hair fall and would like to find the underlying cause. Before visiting a dermatologist, I want to know which tests are usually recommended for evaluating hair loss.
For those who have dealt with hair fall, what blood tests helped identify the cause?
Thankyou
Merko pata h age limit 30 tak h but kuch or posts ke liye age limit 27 iska mtlb ye h ki wo 27 years tak exam de skta but merko jaana h agar kisi ka age 27 year 1 month to wo eligible he ya nhi kyuki age to uska 27 hi hoga na
Whenever I study a Maths chapter properly, after completing it I’m able to solve almost 95% questions easily. But after a few months, I forget most of the concepts and tricks. Because of this, I end up watching the whole chapter videos again.
And you know what? Some chapters’ videos I’ve already watched 3 times 😭
Now I’m thinking maybe the solution is to do 50 mixed Maths questions daily so that all chapters keep getting revised together. But the problem is:
Where should I practice mixed questions from?
How should I manage revision?
Is there any PDF/book/source for chapter-wise + mixed practice together?
How do you guys retain concepts long-term without rewatching lectures again and again?
If anyone has mixed question PDFs, revision strategy, test plan, or any practical solution, please help me guys. I really don’t want to keep rewatching the same videos again and again

25M, recently found out my TSH is 7.8 along with very low Vitamin D (4 ng/mL) and low B12 (190). Over the past 2 years I’ve been dealing with severe diffuse hair shedding, fatigue, low energy, poor sleep, and a lot of stress/anxiety because of it.
The hair fall became so mentally exhausting that I eventually shaved my head because I couldn’t handle constantly seeing hair everywhere anymore.
I’m already planning to see an endocrinologist. I just wanted to hear experiences from others who had thyroid-related symptoms.
For people with thyroid issues:
Did you experience heavy hair shedding?
Did thyroid problems affect your sleep/anxiety levels too?
How long did it take to notice improvement after your thyroid levels became stable?
Just trying to understand whether others went through something similar.
Recently found out my Vitamin D level is 4 ng/mL along with low B12 200 and elevated TSH 7.8 and ferritin 76 Over the 2 years I’ve been dealing with severe diffuse hair shedding, fatigue, low energy, poor sleep, and a lot of stress because of it.
It got mentally exhausting to the point where I shaved my head because constantly seeing hair fall everywhere was affecting me badly.
Not asking for diagnosis or treatment advice I’m already planning to consult doctors. I’m mainly curious about other people’s experiences with very low Vitamin D levels.
What are the supplements you guys can suggest
For those who had severely low Vitamin D:
Did you notice increased hair shedding?
How long did recovery take after correcting your levels?
Did fatigue/sleep issues improve too?
Just looking to hear experiences from others who went through something similar.

Thin/weak hair texture
Oily scalp
Fatigue and low energy
Anxiety/stress because of hair fall
Poor sleep even after exhausting days
Constant overthinking about whether this is reversible or not
My recent blood test results:
Vitamin D: 4 ng/mL
Vitamin B12: 190 pg/mL
TSH: 7.8
Ferritin: 76
Serum Iron: 95
Serum Zinc: 68
DHT: 350
Other details:
Height: 5’5”

I know I need to consult an endocrinologist + dermatologist/trichologist and I’m planning to do that soon. I’m not asking for a diagnosis here.
I mainly wanted to ask people who went through something similar:
Did correcting deficiencies actually help your hair recover?
Did thyroid issues cause diffuse shedding for you?
How long did recovery take?
What changes helped the most in your journey?
Did stress/anxiety from hair fall itself make things worse?
Honestly just looking for experiences/support because this whole thing has been mentally exhausting.

I'm a male in my 25s and honestly I'm getting mentally exhausted because of my hair fall. Every time I shower or touch my hair, I see strands falling and it's making me depressed and anxious about my future appearance.
It got so mentally draining that I eventually shaved my head because I couldn't handle constantly seeing my hair falling everywhere anymore.
Recently got my blood tests done and these are my results:
- Vitamin D: 4.7
- Vitamin B12: 190
- TSH (thyroid): 7.8
- Ferritin: 76
- Serum Iron: 95
- Serum Zinc: 68
- DHT: 350
I've been dealing with:
- Heavy hair fall
- Oily scalp
- Weak/thin hair
- Low energy and fatigue
- Stress and overthinking because of all this
- Poor sleep even after a physically and mentally exhausting day, I still don't feel sleepy properly
I wanted to ask:
Can these deficiencies + thyroid actually cause severe hair fall?
Has anyone recovered their hair after fixing Vitamin
D, B12, or thyroid levels?
How long did it take before you noticed reduced shedding?
What supplements/medications/lifestyle changes
helped you the most?
Is my zinc also considered low enough to affect hair?
Can thyroid or these deficiencies also affect sleep quality/anxiety?
Does my DHT level look concerning for male pattern hair loss?
Now I just need some hope from people who've gone through something similar.
This whole thing is affecting my confidence badly and I genuinely feel depressed because of it.
