Who did Doug Ellin piss off? Why does this show have such a bad rep?
At its core the show is about an actor who refuses to sell out in order to pursue real artistic projects. This pursuit is the driving force behind almost every storyline in the show.
It was always admirable to see E and Vince refuse to submit to the Hollywood machine.
But now I go on YouTube and the comments make it seem like it’s the worst thing ever, an offense to television.
Makes no sense.
