Question about accuracy

Hi all,

I recently purchased the GO SeaQ and I’m very happy with it. Hasn’t been serviced since it was purchased in 2021 and I believe the GO warranty ended two years later.

Watch is great and I’m really happy with it, when I went to get it pressure tested for water I also asked for the watchmaker to test the time. It’s running about -7/-8 overall slow.

Of all the other watches I have this is the slowest and although it’s not annoying I wanted to ask you what your thoughts are on getting this regulated.

Is it worth sending it in for service now or should I just wait and send it for a service in a few years? Is this normal for GO? Would you take it to a local watchmaker to adjust this or send to someone like watchrepairsusa or do you have other recommendation?

To me it’s not a big deal if it was consistent with the brand tolerances but I thought I’d ask since everyone on here has been great with responses.

Thanks in advance!

Went with the SeaQ instead of the sub!

First time owner of a GO but have been lurking for so long. I’ve been on a list for a Sub but instead went with the SeaQ 39.5. I’m so happy with the purchase. Any fun tips/strap combos y’all have or care to share? Should I swap the caseback? Is it worth it? How often do y’all get it serviced? I was able to snag this for $6k USD by the original owner and it’s in great condition with box and set along with the fully brushed bracelet.

Size assistance-1st time buyer

Have always wanted one of these and purchased a 45 eu. I’m usually a 11.5D and it seems to fit good but when I walk, some of my toes touch the front.

Is that a strap issue? Size issue?

I thought about going up, but saw that it’s a whole size (10mm). Should I exchange or will this get better as I wear it?

Thanks!

Two months later…my baby is back!

The date disc got jammed and luckily it was still under the 10 year warranty. I’m glad this was activated at an AD, and that Oris stands by their watches with this warranty.

Sent it into The Watchmaker in Stoneham, MA who replaced the movement and shipped it back to me. It took two months from time I shipped to receiving it today. They kept me updated throughout the process and I’m just so happy it’s back. The 400-2 is so much better and improved. No more jumping minute when I set it and finally I get to wear this watch!

Three watch rotation?

Hi all, thoughts on my three watch rotation? I’m really happy with what I have and appreciate quality vs quantity. Plus, running out of space in the watch box kept me in check. I have space for one more in the future ~2/3 years from now. Any recommendations for the next one?

Out for a stroll with the be-be…threw it on a NATO in case a spring bar pops out while I struggle strapping her into to stroller 😆.
