looking for some high gain lunchbox heads

id prefer tubes, but a hybrid or a REALLY good solid state could pass, id also like multi channel and the ability to put it through a footswitch, as my current amp is single channel and i’m not a really big fan of that

by lunchbox, I mean the cheaper side, under 400 bucks preferably, in the US so my availability is alright

mainly would be for pop punk, metal (nu, industrial, thrash, death) and the occasional grunge and alt rock

any suggestions help!

looking to get my first LP shape after being a hard stuck Strat and telecaster owner, wanted to get in with something inexpensive, not the biggest fan of P90s so I didn’t wanna get a jr, but the tribute plus looks very good for the price tag

normal tribute looks pretty cool and good, special II just seems like a very budget beginner guitar

what do you guys think? personally looking at the tribute/tribute plus, but I wanted some input

thought maybe my old game was laggier than I remember and it’s about the same, nope, new version is insanely laggy on some charts, a chart I could literally FC in the old version (and did twice) is so laggy now I cannot FC it

It really depends, some songs, no lag at all, others, insane amounts of lag that make them near unplayable territory

should I just go back to the old version of the game? the newer one loads faster and such but I’ll take longer load times over lagging insanely bad

i’m on a lower end laptop which may contribute, but it’s just weird the game suddenly got laggy when I updated it, I would think the opposite would be true

so I scroll used listings on amps all the time, eBay, guitar center, FB marketplace, reverb, you name it, and I see valvestates on sale all the time, pretty okay prices too

my question is, are they really all that bad? I know most people dislike them because it’s not pure blood Marshall tube amp, but I’ve heard the drive channel is pretty fizzy too, I feel like it’d be a decent second amp purchase

I know the early guitarist of death (name isn’t coming to me right now but god rest his soul) used one, and death has one of the greatest metal tones of the 90s in my opinion

seems like a fine purchase but people talk trash about them all the time so I wanted to run it by the amp sub

hello, I’ve been watching a streamer play elden ring and got into soulslikes, I just don’t know what I should start with

I would prefer something semi-open or completely linear, which is why i don’t think I would enjoy something like elden ring

I was thinking about dark souls 1, but that just seems like I’m gonna go straight for the belly of the beast, get pissed off, and completely leave the genre

i I was looking at Jedi fallen order or dark souls 3, what do you guys think?

just got my first satellite in orbit around earth, got confident and tried to get to the moon, did the transfer (wasted too much fuel as I missed the point multiple times which may be why this happened) got into the moon’s sphere of influence, trying to orbit the moon the same way I did the earth, but then couldn’t turned away from the moon’s sphere of influence escape.

ran out of fuel, had to detonate the rocket with my boys inside (rip) and restart.

any tips on how to start the orbit after getting into the sphere of influence? im using some pretty decent rockets but i may get redstone atlas later and make another attempt

i’ve got a dookie drive and a line 6 pod go, any dookie drive settings or pod go presets to dial it in?

i’ve already got an incredibly close dookie tone out of the dookie drive, just need suggestions on Woodstock 94
