Best method for cleaning barrel to limit crown/ barrel damage

So I recently noticed some damage to the crown on some of my rifles barrels and was wondering, what is the safest easiest way to clean the barrels the pull through style cable where u swap patches and attachments, a solid cleaning rod with bore guide? it would only work for my bolt guns because of access. I have been using a multi piece brass rod that was bowed and i didn’t notice so I think that’s where my crown damage came from. Also I use ripcord with balistol for quick barrel cleans after range

Torquing red dot plate on shotgun receiver

Recently Installed 509t onto my 1301 kind of a silly question but I was tightening to 14in/lb for the plate I first snugged them up then went to torque first screw but didn’t go till the click went to second screw clicked it to 14 then back to the first screw and clicked it to try and avoid uneven pressure on plate should I re do this due or is still gonna be in spec

Post 2/2 barrel crown damage

Different gun I have similar model and calibre so clearly it must be the brass cleaning rod I have, It still has good accuracy and shoots fine should I mess with it

Are these scope ring gaps acceptable?

The second picture seems to have a bit less of a gap is this a problem or am I being ocd?

Cz trail 600 7.62x39 barrel swap

So I just bought a standard trail non + model and didn’t realize the difference until now so would a barrel still be covered under warranty if u were to shoot out the barrel on non + model

Also would it be possible to change or would u have to have gunsmith do it?

What distance to zero 1301 with red dot for home defence

Hey so I got a 1301t with a holosun 509t what distance should I zero for general home defence/range shooting, range I go to is a 25 yard indoor one

Right now it’s zeroed dead on at 10ish yards, it hits good closer as well it’s zeroed with flight control to have about a fist size hole at 10 yards and closer

I’m guess I’m wondering is this viable or should I zero it to a further distance and compensate at close range?
