Hello, I would like to start saving in złoty since I have permanently moved here.

But as far as I can see, most banks offer savings account with interest that are only promotional and last for 2-3 months.

A colleague mentioned that you can transfer from one bank to another indefinitely making use of the promotions, but that seems very annoying.

There are some banks that I would not call "traditional" that I dont know if trustable, example Trade Republic.

Do you maybe please have some suggestions of solutioms that work for you? Thanks​

It's all enshitificated and overpriced trash. Used to buy polish brand Reserved, quite liked it​, but lately the prices and quality are ridiculous. +150zl for a basic polo shirt??? 1 wash and shrinks

Other polish brands I tried (Wolczanka, Vistula, etc) are trying so hard to sell you their "luxury" stuff , as if the clothes were not made for <5 zl in Bangladesh

And this is not only polish brands. I noticed pretty much any other chains, specially H&M, Levis, have completely gone mad. Clothes that last 2-3 months maximum.

I find myself always in a state of "I have no clothes", but unable to find any store, and travelling to distant shopping malls always disappointed

Would please the polish gentlemen please share tips and recommend stores? maybe local chains or brands?

I liked this person from work I see everyday, and I honestly thought they liked me too. So after weeks of overthinking and feeling "something", I asked them calmly, almost whispering, if they would like to go on a date some day maybe.

The person completely panicked, said no, all my colleagues​​ noticed and looked at my like I did something tremendously wrong, frowning brows and judging eyes. I wanted to die in that same spot.

110kg (240lbs) guy here trying to get back in shape.

I recently bought Asics Nimbus 27 as apparently they are quite good for heavy guys. I have used them 8-9 times exclusively for brisk walk on threadmill (not good for me to run yet). However, after every session, I had quite sharp pains on the interior and exterior side of my foot plant.

I told myself its because I am heavy, maybe still "new shoe" experience, etc...

However today after yesterday session I feel a sharp pain on the joint between my foot and the small toe when I walk. As if I had small crystals inside the joint that stab me when I walk. That is why I am creating the post, idk what to do. I have never spent so much money on shoes. I dont think I can't return them anymore.

What should I do? I'd hate to stop the nice momentum I have now for a stupid foot injury. Would you recommend stop training and visit an specialist? Contacting the asics store? Buy other shoes?

Additional info, my foot is slightly wide (nothing crazy), I have so called flexible flat foot (arched when relaxed, collapse somewhat when standing). I have tried tying the laces in different ways, tighter looser etc..

Lately I've been doing buzzcuts with my Wahl supper taper, usually guard #1. However I personally feel the result is somewhat uneven an patchy and have to make several passes.

So i wonder is this tool not ok for buzzcut, just for taper? should I buy another clipper for this?

TL;DR: Dog obsessively harass other dogs to smell and lick their genitals

Hello, I have an almost 2 yo male poodle, untouched. He is overall very well behaved and listen to my commands.

However, if I take him to a park with other dogs, he will harass other dogs by obsessively smelling and even licking their genitals​ constantly, sticking his face to the other dogs rears, chasing them, regardless of the gender, making then uncomfortable until the other dogs understandably growl and lash out.

I honestly dont know what to do to correct this behaviour.

Recall commands DONT work in this scenarios, he is in trance and completely ignores me. If I raise my voice more than normal for him to snap out, I often scare the other dog instead and it gets weird.

I try to stay close and tap physically my dog on the snout or head to make him snap out of it, but he goes right back at it inmediately!

I am honestly extremely annoyed with this behavior and can't take him to dog parks because of this.

Hello, after months searching for jobs, with my luck, now I have two very similar options from different companies that want to sign a contract the exact same day, and I am dying from stress because I cannot decide what I want, overthinking what I'd miss, regrets, etc.

Context: software developer, worked remote most of my life, quite asocial, quite broke (need to acept one of the jobs). Both jobs are B2B options. Both jobs pay exactly the same amount, and benefits are similar (vacations etc). Because B2B contract, I can quit easily.

Choice 1:

Full remote job for comoamy based in another country. Role is technically closer to what I have experience with than the other choice.

Pros:

Full remote, can work from anywhere

I can spend more time with my dog

No commuting

Good pay, good conditions

Somewhat more popular company than option 2.

Cons:

I dont know much about the project, a bit more uncertainty

Remote job can be very lonely

The people I talked with over the phone sounded rather cold and unfriendly

They have quite bad reputation and reviews mentioning toxic management

Choice 2:

Hybrid setup in the city I am based now (3 days a week in office). Pure software role, not exactly my expertise (closer to hardware).

Pros:

Very nice people

Local people meaning I will be able to learn the local language faster, integrate in the city better as a migrant, etc

Could improve my mental health (a bit isolated by nature)

New very modern offices, corpo life

20 min commute in public transport

Cons:

Spend less time with my dog (leave him alone while at work)

Less flexibility, tied to the local city

Pay in local coin (extra fees if i want to convert them to my original country coin)

I have to commute, wake up earlier, walk the dog warlier, dress code, pack lunch, and other related stuff to office work

Half pro and half con:

As part of the job i have to travel often (4-5 times a year). I love to travel, but my issue is I'd need to leave the dog with someone, or in a dog hotel. I see this as a decrease in quality of life of my doggo, and I hate that, but I also think could be very interesting to visit new places, and for career development. Taking the dog with me is not option unfortunately.

TL;DR:

Choose full remote job so I can stay at home with my dog and maybe change the city where I am based with full flexibility; or choose a local company's job in hybrid setting 3 days a week in office, where I also have to travel sometimes a year, spending less time with my dog and often leaving him with other people or hotels, but improving my asocial life, integrating in the local culture, etc.

P.D.: In case you didn't notice, I love my dog
