Triple VCR/DVD combo restoration

These are 3 VCR/DVD combos that all had their problems. One had a burned power supply, the other had a failed drum and the third had a malfunctioning motherboard. Thankfully all were the same model so i took the power supply and tape mechanism from the one with the malfunctioning motherboard and put them into the other two units. After a good clean of the drums and a lubrication of the tape mechanism motors and gears the two units spun up to life ready to live their second life!

1995 Fan restoration

I was given this fan from my grandpa in about 2015 and this year it suddenly stopped working. So i just took it apart, repaired the motor with a bit of cleaning and some fresh grease and now it works like a charm!

Incredible SyncMaster performance

This is my Samsung SyncMaster 793s CRT monitor that a friend gave me for my birthday. It has near perfect geometry with near perfect blacks and extremely sharp and vibrant colours.

One month of pc dust

Every month I clean my pc and pull out an entire cat from inside because my cat finds it as a great sitting place. To add to that my pc has 4000 rpm fans that suck up everything in a 1 mile radius! There were feathers and dead insects inside!

You have a bit of computer in your dust

Found this pc in my school’s basement that had an insane amount of dust in it. I don’t know how it even managed to get this dusty. I saved the drive, works

After the end of Windows 10 support I upgraded my hardware with EndeavourOS dual booting with windows 10. The personalization and flexibility of this OS is just mind blowing with hundreds of themes and user interfaces while keeping the freedom that arch provides!
