After 7 years and multiple playthroughs, I’m still convinced this is the most beautiful game ever made.

I spent about an hour today just walking through Saint Denis and watching the NPCs. I saw a street cleaner actually clearing debris, a couple having a full-blown argument on a balcony, and a stray dog chasing a wagon. The level of detail Rockstar put into the "routine" of this world is staggering.

Even in 2026, no other open-world game feels this alive. It’s the only game where I’m perfectly happy just trotting on my horse at a slow pace instead of fast-traveling everywhere.

What’s that one specific detail or interaction you found that made you realize this game was on another level?

just started playing far cry 6, and it's the best game I've ever played. It's amazing.

My cousin recommended the game a while back. I started playing it, and it is the best game I have ever played; it is so fun.
