I had a funny dream

Anyone else dreamt this?

I had a dream last night where I was at a party in my deceased grandparents house. Everyone moved to the kitchen, but I held back in the living room.

I felt a serious urge to fart.

My butt went, “pfft!! Pfft Pfft Pfft Pfft pffffffffth!”

It was a rapid fire fart.

Suddenly, Omar Epps entered the room behind me, clearly having heard my machine gun farting, and exclaimed, “Wow! I wasn’t told this party would feature live drumming!”

I woke myself up laughing. I wheezed and cried from laughter

Basic Instinct (1992)

Erotic thrillers were huge in the early 90’s.

This one was actually hot.

Michael Douglas plays a coke/booze addicted cop named Nick that’s famous for murdering tourists in a shootout in San Francisco. He’s pulled into a murder case where a famous rock and roll musician is murdered brutally with an ice pick.

The murder exactly resembles a crime committed in a book authored by the mysterious Catherine Tremell, who happens to be the musician’s fuck buddy.

As it turns out, Catherine is surrounded by murders that resemble stories from her books

Is Catherine a murderer? Is Nick just spiraling?

Is Catherine’s lover Roxy involved?

This film was controversial because Sharon Stone was clearly bisexual, and her girlfriend (Roxy) was clearly possessive.

This film is gorgeously shot. The club scene set a standard for queer spaces.

In college, my favorite clubs were all lgbtqia+ focused, and basic instinct set the standards for queer spaces.

Sharon Stone is gorgeous, Michael Douglas is shockingly sexy. The whole movie is steamy bisexual sex.

It’s so hot.

Check it out

Judgment Night (1993)

“Judgment Night” is an incredibly intense suspense film from 1993.

Four friends from Chicago’s northern suburbs head into the city for a boxing match.

They get lost on the way and witness a gangland execution.

The film then follows them as the gang tracks them through Chicago’s most abandoned/gang infested neighborhoods.

This movie is extremely stressful and intense, with a loaded cast.

The best part of this movie is Denis Leary’s performance as Fallon, the gang leader. The second best part is Peter Greene as Fallon’s second in command.

It’s totally unbelievable and ridiculous, but it’s a lot of fun. Very intense with a great soundtrack.

I don’t think this should have bombed the way it did, but I guess Emilio Estevez didn’t sell tickets the way he did in the 80’s by 93.

Please watch and enjoy.

Point Break (1991)

FBI Agent Johnny Utah (Keanu) joins the Los Angeles FBI Field Office. He and his new partner, Agent Pappas (Gary Busey) start investigating the Ex-Presidents, a group of bank robbers who wear tuxedos and masks of former presidents (Reagan, Carter, LBJ, Nixon) during robberies.

Pappas believes that the “Ex-Presidents” are surfers, so he and Utah invest time in getting mixed in with the LA surfer crowd, where Utah gets romantically involved with Tyler (Lori Petty), and befriends the the mysterious Bodhi (Patrick Swayze).

This is a really fun early 90’s action/heist film.

I think this is the movie where Kathryn Bigelow really showed her chops as an action film director.

It’s so fun to watch. It’s also a great summer movie.

This is the perfect time to give it a chance!

“Time of Death” S. 11, ep. 6

First off, I’m a big Ray Liotta fan. I was devastated when he passed.

I had no idea he did a guest appearance on ER. He and Mekhi Phifer deserved Emmy noms for this episode.

Chills and tears!

What was your favorite guest spot?

Common Nergal Win

It’s so cool to see Keanu being a fan of Behemoth, and Behemoth being a fan of Keanu. Fuck, gonna watch Point Break now, then play the Satanist vinyl.

Andy Warhol’s Dracula aka Blood for Dracula (1974)

Udo Kier is my favorite Dracula.

This film is about an old, sickly, dying Dracula who is rotting away in his Romanian Castle. The only thing that can save him is the blood of virgins.

Dracula and his manservant head to Italy in search of virgin blood, because Italian women are more chaste, religious, and virtuous.

This whole movie is a trip. Udo Kier really gives this film everything he’s got.

It’s filled with hilarious moments; awkward shots that go on for an absurd amount of time; not even remotely sexy love scenes; surprisingly graphic violence; lots of sexual assaults; and tons of naked exposition.

I’ve seen this before on BluRay at home, but this was my first time on the big screen. I saw it at a really cool independently owned venue with the interior modeled and styled like “Metropolis (1927).”

Would definitely recommend seeing this film, and supporting your local independent theaters.

Just finished s10 ep2

I’m so relieved. Dr. Kovac is such a challenging character. The execution scene was so upsetting. I kept thinking, “Luka doesn’t deserve this!”

But, then again, nobody deserves that. So glad he’s gonna survive and stick around

The Peach Truck (South Hills Village)

What a nightmare that was! Am I right?

They were supposed to have 12lb, 25 lb, and 50lb+ orders of peaches, and also bags of pecans.

For those who weren’t there, they showed up over an hour late. The line was poorly managed and out of control.

Then, they ran out of 25lb boxes. They literally ran out of their own produce, which everyone had prepaid and reserved.

To top the shit sandwich off, the crowd was so huge that employees admitted they weren’t telling people that they ran out of supplies because they were afraid the crowd would cause problems. So people waited hours in line only to get refunds or vouchers to visit a different stop to pick up their orders.

It took over 2 hours for us to get our peaches, and I heard they ran out of 12lb boxes after we left.

Total nightmare, would not recommend.

Masters of the Universe (1987) stars Frank Langella as Skeletor. He got fired from “House of Usher” for sexually harassing the other cast and crew. Thank Goodness the 2026 Masters of the Universe movie isn’t problematic at all!!

This dumpster lived in downtown Pittsburgh for years!

“You know, in Brazil, Central America, those kinds of places, making underground videos is considered a subversive act. They execute people for it! In Pittsburgh, WHO KNOWS????!?!”

Uber, it would be greatly appreciated if you were honest about how much your drivers got paid.

I’m really fed up with being in cars where you’re not paying them well enough to turn on their AC.

I want to know what % all drivers are getting from booking through tips.

If my trip costs $50, the driver should get $45. If I tip $20, they should get all of it.

Why did you all stop using air conditioning?

I’ve used four Ubers this weekend. All four closed the windows and didn’t even use the fan. Why are you not using AC? Like, I’ve literally almost got sick because it felt so hot with no ventilation?

Why did you all stop using air conditioning?

I’ve been in four Ubers this weekend. We’ve been at 80-85 degrees F with a heat index of 89-105, and all of the Uber drivers have windows closed with no AC. What are you doing?

How would The Joker react if he met people that were fans of his work or told him that they liked him and respected what he was doing because they heard about him on TV and in the newspapers?

Assuming that The Joker and not Arthur Fleck the little wannabe with a sob story, the Heath Ledger version or worse ever was going around causing chaos and some people recognized him and tried to approach him to thank him for his cause and beliefs thinking that he might take selfies with them or sign autographs or let him hang around him as fags like a celebrity you want to meet.

How would The Joker react to his public and fans that wanted to meet him or tried to help his cause? That could be hilarious or a disaster.

I saw this in theaters on opening weekend, then spent the rest of the day playing in piles of leaves with my brothers and sisters.

This movie was near and dear to me as a child because I loved “Ernest Goes to Camp,” “Ernest Saves Christmas,” and “Ernest Goes to Jail.” Let’s not forget how Ernest infiltrated (charmingly) children’s entertainment through Disney during this time.

So, Ernest tackled my favorite holiday.

This movie is easy to be critical of, but difficult to judge.

This is because Jim Varney and Eartha Kitt are genuinely charming, sweet, and lovable. The villain, “Trantor” is legitimately scary and has nightmare-fuel scares, and the whole movie has a slice of life feel.

Remove the troll plot, and this could be a spooky folk tale in any American city or town.

This is my favorite Ernest movie.

I remember when Jim Varney died. My school had a free newspaper. So many of us grew up with Jim Varney’s Ernest movies that the headline that week was a rare Hollywood moment. Our menus in the lunchroom, tests scores, and sports took a backseat. The front page was “Ernest Goes to Heaven.”

Not a dry eye in the lunchroom.

Anyhoot, I just wanted to pay respects to this character and the actor who played him.
