Does anyone else go through random losing streaks where it feels like you forgot how to play?

I’ve been on an absolutely brutal losing streak lately.
I was around 820 Elo, and now I’ve dropped all the way to 690. It’s honestly frustrating because there are days where I feel like I see everything I calculate well, spot tactics, and play solid games. Then there are days like today where I can’t seem to do anything right. I blunder pieces, miss obvious tactics, and lose game after game.

Do you keep playing through the losing streak, or do you take a break and come back with a fresh mind?

How much does camaraderie and brotherhood/sisterhood actually matter in law enforcement?

I’ve heard from a LEO who transferred agencies because he felt like he never really fit in. He said his FTO and one of his supervisors treated him pretty poorly, and he also mentioned that there were a lot of cliques within the department. It got me wondering how common that actually is. From my perspective, I would not to take it personal and focus on doing the job. Every workplace has personalities that don’t mesh, so I feel like I’d just put my feelings aside and keep moving. At the same time, I know law enforcement is different from a typical job because you’re relying on the people around you in high
stress and sometimes dangerous situations.

is it possible to succeed even if you don’t really “fit in” socially? Also, are cliques really a thing, or does it just depend on the agency?

Edit: this LEO is someone I went on a ride along with.

Keep cutting or maintain?

I finally hit my original goal weight of 150 lbs after starting at 164 lbs, but now I’m not sure what my next move should be?
Height: 5’3”
Starting weight: 164 lbs
Current weight: 150 lbs
Been lifting consistently since April while staying in a calorie deficit.
Protein has been my priority and I’ve tried to keep strength up throughout the cut.

Considering working for the city I live in

Hello,

As I narrow down agency’s I would love to work for. I figured why not work for my local PD agency for the city I live in.
The only thing holding me back is encountering those real life horror stories about e.g arresting some guy last week that works for my local grocery store or even encountering someone I arrested last week with my family next to me.

Does any LEO work for their current city they live in?
Could you shed some light on that area I’m worried about?

How to choose an agency that fits?

Hello Officers,

I hope you can help me or drop some knowledge on how you found the agency that Fits you. I just Passed my Physical WSTB yesterday, and Pellet B test.

The next step would be to select an Agency that would of course sponsor me through the Academy.

I know there’s a lot of agencies to choose from but how did you know you fit where you belong?

Title: Trying to trade in my Series 11 Apple Watch but Best Buy won’t accept my trade in because it’s “too new”

I Went to Best Buy today because I wanted to trade in my Apple Watch Series 11 42mm toward a Garmin Watch.
The salesperson checked everything out, and I was told we could do the trade-in. The salesperson even mentioned that he personally had an Apple Watch Series 11 and traded his in for a Garmin. I understand salespeople try to build rapport and sell you on things, but saying something like that when it doesn’t seem true just left a bad impression.
Everything was fine until we were literally about to check out, then I was told: “Unfortunately, we cannot accept your trade-in because it’s too new.”
The confusing part is I had already gone on the Best Buy website, filled out their trade-in form, and it gave me an estimated $200 trade-in credit toward a Best Buy purchase.
So why would the website approve a trade-in but the store says they can’t accept it because it’s “too new”?
I ended up not buying the Garmin because the whole situation felt ridiculous.

Is there some waiting period before Best Buy accepts newer devices?

Thinking about switching from AT&T to T-Mobile — which plan makes the most sense? (2 financed phones with AT&T)

Hey everyone, I’m considering switching from AT&T to T-Mobile to lower my monthly phone bill and wanted some advice.

Right now I have 2 phones financed through AT&T, and I’m looking into moving over to T-Mobile. I was looking at the Experience More plan and it seems like it might fit my needs, but I’m not 100% sure if it’s the best option.

I’d like to keep or upgrade my current phones if possible
Not losing too many benefits compared to AT&T

How did you handle the remaining phone balances?

Appreciate any advice 🙏
Anyone can send some deals via link that would qualify? Ideally trade in.

164 lbs → 156.4 lbs. Keep cutting, start a lean bulk, or body recomp? (Photos included)

Hey everyone,

Looking for some honest feedback on what my next move should be.
I started at 164 lbs and have cut down to 156.4 lbs. I’ve been lifting consistently, prioritizing protein, and trying to maintain strength throughout the cut.
My goal is to build a more athletic and muscular physique, but I’m not sure if I should: Continue cutting or Start a lean bulk or Try a body recomp
I attached current photos for reference.
Do I look lean enough to begin a lean bulk?
Age: 28
Weight: 156.4 lbs
Height: 5’3
Appreciate any feedback.

I’ve been going to the gym consecutive for a month in.
I’ve also been maintaining my calories and weight at 164 lb.
Eating high protein foods and obviously watching what I eat. I’ve been bulking for over a month now
Any suggestions if I should keep trying to bulk?
My goal is to obviously have more muscle and strength.
(Idk my body fat) I currently weighed right now 162.4
Thanks gym bros - and brah’s

Currently a Fitbod user as of now.
Reason for wanting to switch is due to the lack of exercises and gym equipment that are on the app.
Along with the repetitive training with the same suggested weight.

Anyone have any insight who used to be a Fitbod user?
(My goal is to build muscle and strength)

I’ve been using facial cleaners, but I think I may be using the wrong ones. Looking into La Rosche Posay Brand. Any guesses on what this is?
