Pithouse keeps disconnecting within the first minute of driving

Idk why but when I load up pithouse and my wheelbase connects I load up ACC and start driving within the first minute of being in the session pithouse disconnected from my wheel causing the rpm lights and 90% of the FFB is gone.

I have a R3 bundle with the latest firmware and version and I don't know why this is happening.

(Sorry if this reads weird I have trouble writing coherent messages even if it makes sense to me 👍)

Edit: also the only way to get it to reconnect is to unplug the wheel and plug it back in which makes ACC not recognise it so I have to restart the game😡

Why do most bassists put the thumb in the pickup?

Hi, I've been playing for around a year and I'm a big fan of Iron Maiden in fact Steve Harris got me into bass and when I got my first bass and I went to play I rested my palm on the bass kind of like Steve Harris as I didn't know there was any other way and I played like that. I can play almost everything in that position and it's incredibly comfortable but when I looked up more "bass tutorials" because I wanted to learn a song I couldn't work out by ear I noticed they were putting their thumb on the pickup and when I watched more videos and they also put the thumb on the pickup. Can anyone tell me why people do this as when I tried it was uncomfortable and painful after a while. Is there a theory reason because I'm not into music theory or anything or is it a historical or a practical reason?

Edit: sorry if this doesn't make sense I have autism and ADHD so sometimes I nonsensically ramble incoherently

Paschendale is one the best iron maiden songs. What do you think?

Paschendale is in my opinion one of the best Iron Maiden songs out there. It is just perfect and it's a blast to play?

Rate my new flatwound bass strings!

Just picked these flats up to play more iron maiden. How do they sound and did I do well stringing them (first time!)?

(Side note I recorded this with my phone against the amp because I don't have anything to properly record this with :P)

I haven't played in a while and after I went to grab the rifle and accidentally pressed G the game crashed immediately... :P

Gear shift vibration sometimes works

I have a moza R3 and primarily play acc and I have my gear shift vibration on 2. I like having it so for when I use headphones I can feel the gear shift and makes me feel more confident that I'm in gear. But sometimes it either is a tenth or two off time or it doesn't do it at all and I don't know why, I experience no clipping and when it does work perfectly it is strong enough to overcome any other ffb without being over the top but most times I can't feel it. Please help I don't understand why this is not happening.

What did you guys play when you were learning and how complex was it?

I've been playing for almost a year now playing exclusively iron maiden and didn't find an interest in anything else. Now my fingers and position are trained for galloping, fast riffs and long playing sessions. So what did you play in your bass beginnings?

I've entered the ecosystem!

My brother just got a R9 and after me rolling the G29 for a while he gave his R3 to me. I've entered the black hole and there's no leaving it, and bloody hell its good!

A lot of trouble with thumb pain when driving.

whenever I drive upwards of 10 minutes my thumbs start to ache a lot. I sounds stupid but I have a G29 which I can handle but when my thumbs ache It becomes hard to press the buttons on the wheel e.g. adjusting brake bias or abs. I'm currently some thin bike gloves but I'm not sure if its because I'm gripping on the steering wheel too much so I might invest in some karting gloves (mainly because they are cheaper than sim racing gloves). I have a thing where I tend to really grip the wheel sometimes but most of the time I'm just holding normally. bad idea or good idea?
