I have a gig coming up a little larger than I regularly do. It’s a small multiple band event in a schoolyard. Playing to around 300 people the most at any given time. Last year I did it with two jbl srx 815p and 2 prx 818xlf subs. It worked fine but this year I wanted to add a little more. I have in addition to those speakers, 2 vrx932lap and 2 srx818p subs. How would you configure this?y first thought was 2 srx on stands on the stage. The 4 subs on the floor front of stage and the 2 vrx as front fills. Would any other configurations work out better?

I feel that I’m always moving stand bags around when I’m trying to get speakers and subs out. Any ideas to hang them from the side walls?

Hey. Just started putting together a wireless rack for events. I bought a shure SLXD4D dual unit and 2 SLXD4 singles. 4 mics all together. I’m using the included cabling and adapters to move the antennas up front. The dual unit has two antennas A and B so that’s not an issue. The single units each have 2 antennas. A and B. I’m guessing I need 2 combiners to join the As and Bs and move them up front? Also, would replacing the included 1/4 wave antennas with 1/2 wave do me any good? Thanks

I’ve become more paranoid and just picked up an identical mixer in case one craps out. Two iPads, two routers, extra speakers in the truck. Does everyone do this or is it my paranoia? lol
