Based on the lore, what fictional character do you think is more beautiful than Griffith?
For me, it's Reinhard from the Legend of the Galactic Heroes novels. The novels never stop talking about how beautiful he is. He's always described as an angel, a porcelain doll, and an delicate ivory carving, and his beauty is brought up over and over again. Even the OVA staff based his design on Diane Lane because they wanted to capture that feminine beauty.

Noticed a lot of misinformation claiming all bishounen and shoujo characters were based on Björn Andrésen, which is misleading. For example, Keiko Takemiya confirmed Gilbert from Kaze to Ki no Uta was based on Rupert Webster.
Not every blond character was based on Björn
