anyone else feel like manual follow ups are where most leads quitely die?

Generating leads honestly isn't even the hardest part for us anymore.

the real problem is staying consistent with follow ups once workloads spike and everyone gets busym

we've had multiple warm prospects disappear simply because someone forgot to circle back fast enough.

Arjan Dhamija - 7 Figure Tutor - Scam - Overpromise and underdeliver

I keep seeing Arjan dhamija's ads everywhere targeting tutoring business owners, and after my personal experience, I genuinely feel obligated to warn others before they spend thousands of dollars like I did.

From what I’ve seen, he has now rebranded his business to “7FigureTutor” after receiving a large number of negative reviews online. That alone should make people stop and do proper research before handing over large amounts of money.

I invested around $5,000 into his marketing/business growth program after being promised increased enrollments, school partnerships, social media exposure, and a money-back guarantee if results were not achieved.

After working with them from May 2024 to February 2025, I saw no increase in enrollments, in fact, my enrollments declined.

The biggest issue was the massive gap between what was promised during sales calls and what was actually delivered.

I was led to believe there were proven systems, school connections, and active marketing support in place. Instead:

- Most of the execution fell back onto me.

- Social media marketing was barely utilized.

- The strategy focused heavily on spending an additional $700–$1,200/month on Google Ads during the slowest tutoring months of the year.

- School outreach mostly consisted of generic email templates and being told to deliver Costco chocolates to school staff.

For a $5,000 program, I expected real strategy, execution, and guidance — not recycled templates and constant pressure to spend more money on ads.

When I requested a partial refund after months without results, it was denied despite the original promises around guarantees and growth.

What concerns me even more is that I’m now in multiple group chats with other unhappy clients who had very similar experiences. A lot of people feel they were sold unrealistic expectations and left without the level of support or delivery they were promised.

I am not saying this purely out of emotion. I’ve run my tutoring business for over 10 years and understand that marketing takes time. I wasn’t expecting overnight success. I simply expected honesty, professionalism, and delivery on the promises used to sell the program.

In my opinion, this company overpromises and underdelivers, and I would strongly encourage other tutoring business owners to be extremely cautious before signing anything or paying large upfront fees.

I’m posting this because I wish someone had warned me before I spent my hard-earned money

Do Canadian solar owners use a dedicated tablet for system monitoring

I'm interested how people in Canada check systems on a daily basis.

These days, many setups come with apps or web dashboards that show production, grid import and export, battery status, inverter alerts, and usage patterns. I have seen some generic smart tablets online like the PAD 200, but I am not asking for product recommendations nor intending to promote such tablets.

For Canadian solar users, do you have a tablet or screen set up at home specifically to monitor your system or do you mostly just check the inverter/app on your phone?

I would particularly be interested in whether a dashboard that is always visible helps with:

* understanding winter vs summer production

* noticing inverter or panel issues earlier

* timing electricity use around solar generation

* tracking battery behavior if you have storage

* making solar more understandable for the household

tried like 6 email finder tools, landed on Prospeo

we've te͏sted bunch of email enrichment tool for SDR team (5 people, SaaS startup). started with Hunter, moved to Dropcontact, tried Snov, Apollo, and finally landed on Prospeo about 2 months ago.

main difference i noticed: prospeo's verification is legit. our bounce rate dropped from like 8-12% down to under 2%. they verify everything in real-time instead of just pulling from some static database. also the mobile numbers actually work - our cold call connect rate went up noticeably which made our sales manager very happy lol

one thing that bugs me: the UI could use work. it's functional but feels a bit dated compared to Apollo. also wish they had more native CRM integrations beyond just Salesforce/HubSpot.

but for pure b2b contact data quality? not even close. we're pulling emails at scale through their API (about 5k/week) and almost everything lands. plus they only charge for verified emails so no wasted credits on bounces.

my boss asked me to write up a prospeo review internally and it was basically just "the data is good and it's cheap, keep it." anyone else using them? curious what your prospeo opinion would be especially if you're doing higher volume.

Adopting my daughter from Colombia and the paperwork mountain is something else

After six year i am trying finally bringing my daughter home from Bogotá. The adoption is finalized on the Colombian side and I'm doing the final travel to bring her home in about 4 months. This has been the longest most expensive process of my life and I'm doing it solo by choice.

What nobody tells you about international adoption is how the paperwork doesn't stop at the adoption itself. I'm now navigating her Ir3 visa, the requirements for her US passport once she's home, my own passport renewal because mine expires next year and I want to do it before I'm fully in mom mode, plus updating wills and guardianship paperwork in case anything happens to me. I have spreadsheets of spreadsheets.

I'm running my own consulting business through all of this. My executive function is allocated entirely to the adoption decisions and the business is treading water. Every time I open the official passport site to do my DS 82 renewal I get a wave of doc fatigue and close the laptop

For other single moms by choice who have done an international adoption, what were the practical thing you wish you'd known about the final streach? And by the way, any sane way handle passport renewal in tye middle of a paperwork avalanche ?

does anyone else feel like leadership feedback gets more confusing the higher you move up? [N/A]

i’m in Phoenix working HR operations and just got passed over for promotion again despite consistently strong reviews.

the frustrating part is the feedback itself wasn’t negative. It was all stuff like “needs broader organizational influence” or “executive communication growth.”

honestly i left the conversation more confused than before because nobody could explain concretely what i’m supposed to improve.

Also btw i’m realizing career growth at senior levels feels way more perception-based than performance-based sometimes.

curious if anyone here worked with leadership or career coaching around executive presence specifically .

anyone else feel like technical explainer videos either oversimplify everything or become impossible to follow ?

we're rebuilding onboarding content for our B2B platform right now and finding the balance has been wierdly difficult.

Our first explainer video simplified things so much that enterprise users thought the product lacked depth.then the second version become overloaded with workflows and intergrations until nobody understood anything anymore lol.

also random thing I learned daring this process: shorter videos aren't automatically better if the pacing becomes rushed.

Curious how other tech teams handled explaining complicated products without losing people halfway through.

Just for context, I really did something dumb recently that completely backfired and now I'm scrambling for a different plan. My shop had many old negative reviews affecting my rating heavily, so I figured I could just create up a brand new listing fresh from the shackles with a slightly different name and start clean. But, Google's algorithm is way smarter than what I thought, I never expected this thing to happen in the first place. It picked up my address and phone number same as my old one, it’s like it merged the new listing with the old one, and dragged every single bad review right back onto my new listing. So I basically wasted a bunch of time and ended up exactly where I started.

Now I'm just trying to figure out how to actually delete Google reviews properly without screwing things up even worse. I've already tried reporting a few of them straight through Google and nothing happened, they're still sitting there weeks later like I never even submitted anything. The reviews aren't technically spam either, just old stuff that isn't accurate anymore, so I don't even know if Google cares enough to take them down. I've also seen some people mention paying a service to delete a Google review, but no clue if that's a legit route or if it puts my listing in danger.

I really can't afford to mess this up again. If anyone here has actually managed to delete reviews through a method that worked and didn't blow up their listing, would appreciate hearing what you did. Just trying to figure out what's actually safe before I try anything else.

Working as a freelance writer means long day and spring cleaning has me keeping the pantry small . I still want food to taste satisfying without buying ten different species. I researched minimal flavor boosters with tongue tingling sensation and floral aroma that range from nine to seventeen dollars. Most claim the electric numbing buzz but i need something versatile and low effort. I' m looking for the best website oe brand for a simple pantry item that deliver real citrusy tingle .

I work as a barista and spend long hour on my feet Spring has me reaching for snacks constantly but nothing feels satisfying anymore. I discovered some with tongue tingling sensation and floral aroma priced from seven to twelve dollars. The way the citrusy tingle builds slowly is strangely pleasing. I'm looking for the best place or website that sells snacks where that electric numbing buzz is main reason people keep buying them

We just shipped a major update to our mobile app and the app store preview video we filmed internally looks rough. like clearly shot on screen recorder with a voiceover from someone's bedroom. Our app store conversations is stuck and I'm pretty sure the preview video is part for the reason

I want to find a video production company that specilizes in mobile UI walk throughs. Something polisehed, with proper screen capture , motion graphics over the Ui to highlight feature and a pace that actully keeps people watching.

Anyone here recently produced an app preview video that moved the needle on conversations? How did you find the production team and roughly how long did the project take from start to finish ?

I'm the only performance marketer at a series B SaaS company and i am drowning in creative request. We need
New ad creative for meta, linkedln, tiktok plus retargeting varients every couple of weeks. Our in house designer is part time and already maxed out on website work .

I've been considering hiring an ad creative production agency that can handle the whole pipeline, statics and short from video, across all our paid channels. The dream is I send them the offer and audience brief and they come back with a batch of creative i can launch
