Usage of kadi, kuma, and ketdi

Medyo nalilito ako sa gamit ng kadi, kuma, at ketdi.

Hindi ba parang "ba" ang kadi? So valid ang "'dinno ti papananam kadi?" from my understanding.

Pero parang naririnig ko siya ginagamit para i-emphasize ang point. "Iturongmo ladtan kadi." or Or should it be kitdi?

Tapos parang naririnig ko rin yung "kadi" as "sana." such as in "Denggendak gamin kadi!"

Pero parang naririnig ko rin ang "kuma" for "ba." Pero yung alam ko rin sa "kuma" is "sana".

pls help! Agyamanak kenyayo!

As someone learning Cordillera Ilokano, it feels like I'm just making fun of myself in front of others

I would appreciate a realtalk 😅 I've been trying to learn ilokano passively and sometimes actively. But whenever I try to speak I feel it is off

OR the one I'm speaking to settles with Tagalog

OR they get irritated and say ""Mag-Tagalog ka na lang pinapahirapan mo pa kami"

OR I think they think nagmamayabang ako bilang Tagalog ang mother tongue tas gusto magpasikat.

Pero sa totoo, gusto ko lang talaga matuto. Siguro dagidiay basic words ngay ken grammar naus-usarkon ngem nu concepts wenno terms diak pay naus-usar.

It's just something I appreciate about Cordi peoples being able to speak 4 languages or more. And want to do the same.

I don't know if I should stop. Haha might need a real talk. Thanks! Kayat ko met nga denggen dagiti insights yo.

What do you think is the reason why Pangasinense parents don't speak as much Pangasinan towards there children? (As compared say to Ilokano families, Cebuano families, Cordilleran families)

narinig ko mula sa mama ko na pangmayaman daw kasi ang Tagalog nung panahon nila kaya yun yung ginagamit nilang salita. Singa sosyal kuno. But wdyt

What pre-arki courses can I take as an engineer before I go on pursuing arki?

Hi! I'm a newly licensed mechanical engineer and I'm still job hunting as of the moment. But recently, I've been enticed by architecture again (I planned on shifting to architecture when I was a second year undergrad student).

As of now wala pa akong ipon para mag-aral ulit. Pero gustong gusto ng nanay ko rin ng bahay for years na... couple that with my interest in the arts and drawing pushes me even further to pursue architecture. Alam ko na hindi lang drawing-drawing ang arki and I know mahigpit ang job market sa mga arki. But, it is still something that piques my interest. I'm kind of old na (M25) but I still kind of want to pursue arki in the future.

What courses can I take to otherwise align myself with arki and are there like pre-courses that teach drafting for arki?

Where to learn Cordilleran dances and gong-playing as a non-Cordilleran?

Hello! Agdamagak lang. I'm a lowlander who has recently graduated university. I've been interested in Cordilleran culture and people for quite some time now and want to immerse myself and learn more about them.

I'm curious if there are any programs where I can learn Cordilleran dances (I've especially wanted to play the gangsa properly for different dances from the different cultural groups of Cordi).

And being Pangasinan, wanting to learn relative languages like Kalanguya and Ibaloi. (But this is more of a desire to also engage with the highland peoples in ministry).

Thanks a lot!

How is "bengat" or "lambengat" used in a Pangasinan sentence?

For context: I hear Ibalois use "bengat" in a sentence and it is pretty much their "labat" in Pangasinan. But I also saw "bengat" and "lambengat' in a Pangasinan dictionary which made me curious about how it is used in our language.

Hoping to hear from you guys 😁

I am currently looking for work in my field (something related to building informations/machining)...

But considering the length of time for TESDA courses, and also considering that I want to diversify my skills even if it's not catered to my career directly, I would like to ask what kind of TESDA courses do you think are good—not necessarily for career, but for being a better homemaker and a family man?

Was considering Carpentry NCII, Driving NCII, Bread and Pastry NCII. But what do you think?

Thanks a lot!
