I feel like Santa muerte is calling me.

Right now I worship the Greek gods and do ceremonial magic and I feel like Santa muerte is calling me but I don't know for sure I don't even know her. How do you know if your being called and how do I start with worshiping her respectfully

Do you guys here do rituals to invoke the planets into the spagyrics.

I have been using golden dawn hexagram rituals which invoke or banish planets and hymns to the planets while doing the lab work and when harvesting. Does anyone else do things like this, what's your opinions on me doing it. The ash being calcined is blue vervain.

I have questions about the creation story of thelema.

Do you guys fully believe the story of how Crowley and his wife just happened to mystically find the stele of revealing and then write the book of the law, if it's true it should be like a Egyptian revival but thelema doesn't seem anything like that to me, though thelema is pretty confusing and so is crowley in general. So what's your opinions was Crowley truly a chosen prophet or just some nutty guy who knew a lot about religions and made his own.

Hello I have a question I need answers and opinions about.

So I first got into Egyptian mythology from thelema which is a religion made by a ceremonial magician named aleistor Crowley in the early 1900s. Anyway in crowleys religion thelema he used an Egyptian funerary stele of a priest name ank af en khonsu so originally I was doing crowleys religion but it's a mockery of or is very nontraditional Egyptian religion. So what should I do, I know it's probably taboo to use a funeral stele for worship but the stele is of Re whom is my main god so would it still be okay even though the original purpose of it was only to be in the preist ank af en khonsu's tomb. If I shouldn't use it then what should I do with it.

Do you guys think the planets are gods.

Do you think that Zeus is Jupiter, Kronos is Saturn, hermes is mercury like as in the literal planet.

Was bones spiritual at all.

Damn near all his songs have lyrics about nature and being one with earth and the sun or eating healthy, was this just personal opinion or was it spiritual. I know it's probably a stupid question but I really loved bones during my "spiritual awakening" and still do.

Hello I have a question about using hexagram rituals while invoking the gods.

I'm not sure if you guys will even know of hexagram rituals but there a golden dawn thing they use hexagrams to invoke the planets, is using rituals like these bad the rituals purpose isn't worship and it doesn't necessarily relate to the gods at all other than the planets that could be associated to the gods like Jupiter for Zeus or Hermes mercury.

Hello I have some things I want to talk about.

No offense I like the golden dawn system but it seems so made up and slopped together every time I research the meanings of it, I find the original sources and it's totally different from the way the golden dawn uses it. It's like the golden dawn is purposely not making sense and the system is sorta locked into its own style with its own occult meanings that don't necessarily make sense when compared to its original source. I find the system useful but it also seems rough around the edges and edgy in general.

Hello I have questions about something I've been doing.

So I've been doing spagyrics which is an alchemical thing the point of it is to make herbal medicine from plants but also use the energy of the planets associated with them to heal spiritually and physically. I'm pretty new to it still so I won't go in depth but for the planetary energy part I've have been making up rituals to invoke the gods of the planets.

Anyway I want to know if what I'm doing is disrespectful as I am not a Hellenist so I don't know for sure, anyway here's two rituals I did for it I want to know your opinions.

So here's what I did I harvested mullein on Saturday and where I harvested it I said the orphic hymn to saturn/Kronos and left a offering I can't remember what I offered, then I got home and put the mullein I in a jar with alcohol and let it to macerate for a whole moon cycle I then strained the alcohol off. I then burned that same mullien into ash which is part of the spagyric process I then put the ash in the jar which I didn't need to but I just didn't have time to finish burning them. Now it's another Saturday and I'm going to finish the ash part so I invoked Saturn again I used the same hymn but added one part asking about the plant and tincture I did a burnt offering of myrrh and barley that I grey myself I then told saturn that he was free to leave and to have a save way back home, I also did two banashing rituals before and after it.

The next one i did was venus/Aphrodite. First I harvested vervain on Friday and then where I harvested it at did a banashing ritual then said an incantation I myself wrote for venus/Aprhodite then when I got home I did another banashing and said a different incantation to Aphrodite and asked for her power to be infused into the tincture and left her burnt offering of roses, mugwort and vetiver. I then thanked her and told her to make her way home safely then did a banashing ritual.

Does this sound pointless or disrespectful in anyway.

Thank you for taking your time to read this.

I have questions about lifestyle and doing stuff like we do here.

I am planning on living a nomadic lifestyle I will be living off the land eating wild plants and stuff like that I know that it is a very hard challenge and may not be possible. I'm know that doesn't have anything to do with this sub necessarily but what advice do you guys have for someone who wanted to live that way and also do ceremonial magick and be a thelemite.
