Battery drain so quickly

Hi! I have a Bigme b751c e reader for about 4-5 months. In the beginning, the battery lasted WEEKS. However I would go through periods of not charging nor using it. Now that I’ve started to use it more, I noticed that the battery drains insanely fast. I’m talking 30-50% in a few hours of wifi online reading (color). Is this normal? Is there a way to troubleshoot? I might have already thrown my manufacturer warranty papers away—who should I contact?

I’ve heard that the battery cannot be replaced on this device. Is this true? If it isn’t, how much would the cost be?

Advice and tips for a incoming grad student

Hi! I recently got into my top choice biology thesis based master’s program (yay!!) and was wondering if anyone has advice that isn’t commonly mentioned online, especially unspoken rules, academic/lab etiquette, or things you wish you knew before starting a thesis-based program.
I’m neurodivergent and sometimes struggle to pick up on “norms” when they aren’t explicitly explained, so even advice that seems obvious would be super helpful!
Thank you!! :)

Advice and tips for a incoming grad student

Hello! I recently got into my top bio thesis based masters program (yay!) and was wondering if anyone has any specific advice that aren’t commonly given online, especially for thesis based programs (or any unsaid rules/ common sense that one might miss). I’m neurodivergent so I struggle to know what the “norm” is when people don’t tell me. So please help me out in any way! Thank you!

Car insurance for summer

Hi guys, my car will be parked for the summer (friend will look after). Should I cancel my insurance for those 3 months or should I buy the bare minimum or storage packet for those 3 months. Worried that it’d affect my future quotes.

a raccoon has been visiting my bird feeder the past 2 nights😭Im not too sure what to do, do I hang the feeder higher (not sure if i could do that), try to get an alarm system, or put something over the feeder at night? It just makes a mess and also kicks my feeder and I’m afraid its break it

I live in northwestern WA state, not sure if it’s a finch or a sparrow (pretty big beak so maybe finch), and if it is, what kind of finch/sparrow is it? I tried merlin and also cross referencing pictures but I couldn’t find a solid answer.

Mostly brown, white belly with dark brown spots, head MIGHT have a slight white marking around the crown but am not sure due to the poor quality. Wings are mostly brown white some white near the edges

ive only had this feeder up for 3 days. The first day and a half there were only chickadees, now there are SWARMS of juncos. I love juncos dont get me wrong, but im worried theyre competing with other birds around.

I’m also trying to get sparrows and finches to come. They haven’t shown up yet. What should I do for that?
