My partner and I’s application is solid imo, good-great credit scores, over 100k combined income, great reference from current landlord etc. I cannot for the life of me understand why we keep getting rejected. Is it the fact we’d rather pay via etransfer rather post dated cheques? Is it the fact we have a pet? Is it the fact we’re not giving more than two months deposit?
Any advice?

If you give two months notice, how often are you having potential tenants coming to view the unit? I gave two months notice and currently getting bombarded with showing requests and it’s overwhelming me. What’s a normal amount in a given week? Will it die down as the listing stays up for a while?
What is up with realtors asking for proof of employment, ID, paystubs, credit score, references, filling out an application all BEFORE even viewing an apartment for rent? This is ridiculous, never done that before.
Have you come across good apartment companies to rent from in North York? We’re looking for 2b/2b. Doesn’t have to be modern

I have lost trust in him completely. I was cheated on in the past and I asked him if he ever cheated on anyone, he lied and said no. Idk who in the world I married. I can’t even look at him. There’s one study that suggests psyllium husk powder helps relieve heartburn symptoms. Has anyone tried it? How effective was it for you? Did you stop your medications as a result? Any input is welcome
Going for my next scan on Friday and really hoping I can see the genitals or at least a side profile to get the nub spine view. Anyone else get lucky this early on? I hate that we don’t do the NIPT test in Canada like Americans do.
Edit: I meant NIPT isn’t covered by OHIP unless you choose to pay for it. From my understanding, it’s covered for higher risk pregnancies. I don’t qualify for NIPT so that’s what I’m saying. That’s besides the point. I’m asking, have YOU find out the gender early on at around 12W5D?
Anyone opt for the “EI special benefits for self-employed people” and if so what was your experience like? Do you have to pay EI premiums until you retire?
I live away from family and can’t imagine leaving my baby at daycare with strangers, but also can’t afford not earning an income for months-years, so I’m considering EI benefits but don’t fully know how it works or if it’s worth it. Most mom dentists I know take a few months off and get back to business.
