What are some good brands for building blocks (not lego obv) preferably cheaper than legos
Theyre not mentioned directly in the syllabus but alot of topical questions seem to be about them? Also which STDs and viruses are important to learn?
Anyone have recs for my first urdu novel? My urdu is laughable so i need to improve that. But i want something actually interesting not just romance and family drama.
Im usually into sci fi/ fantasy but really anything but family drama is good
Does anyone have a summary for all the names of scientists were supposed to know for all the subjects?
Can someone break down the concept of aggregate and how its calculated? And whats a good percentage to get into mbbs? I dont really understand the weightage of the different parts like ik its a combination of igs alevel and mdcat but like how?
Tyvm in advance!
So is shifa test gonna be delayed? How stressed should i be? Also if you guys had to pick which would you do nums or shifa?
Has anyone gotten any sort of email for approval or something like a statement of entry?
Can someone please share the last years merit for Islamabad universities/ predictions to what itll be now
So in short i havent finished the syllabus yet and its hitting me that im screwed. What are the most important chaps in all three subs so i do them first and then get onto the lesser ones? Im doing in isl so federal board.
Are the values for every concept important to learn. For example the radius of different atoms or like the van der waals constants or is it just the concept and trends etc?
What is it with bio and names of scientists? Every chapter has like 10 people to learn? Atp ik more about the discovery than the process itself how do i even do this??????
Ps someone please share a summary 🙏
Im 18.
Ive never really had a hobby. That probably seems like an exaggeration but its not ive ever really done anything but watch tv and study. Ive been getting so tired of my phone and having nothing to do but i dont really know what else to do.
Im not interested in anything nothing really grabs my attention long enough to willingly do it. Feels more like a chore and thats not what im looking for ykwim.
I read here and there but i haven't found THE genre yet and trying different ones until i do sounds like hell rn tbh
Ive gone through this entire subreddit looking for something to do and in conclusion only about 10 hobbies exist in the world and im not rlly into any of them.
I would like to do something that feels productive but basically anything that does also feels like school and i have enough of that right now.
I dont have access to basically anything outdoor because its currently 40degrees C outside and the sun went down almost an hour ago. (Imagine what its like during the day)
Idrk what im looking for in this post this is more of a rant 🤷♀️
Someone please recommend a website for topical papers from recent years🙏
So long story short, i need a hobby. Id like to do something productive since I've realized most my hobbies are consumption based, but i dont really want to spend forever learning since i am a student and it starts to feel like i spend all day learning stuff. I know woodcarving is a skill and its gonna take some practice but i guess i want somewhat of timeline. In your experience, how long does it take to start actually building stuff (mini figurines etc) so that they remotely resemble the reference. Ik this is a weird question but oh well🤷♀️lol
I have been in a "reading slump" for more than a year now. I rlly wanna get back to reading but i cant seem to find anything perfect enough to force myself to read it ykwim? So, anyone know any easy to read but fast paced books? Id be down for anything but romance
Im gonna apply to shifa for mbbs this year for both foreign and local seat. I had a few questions since i dont live in Pakistan right now.
If i get shortlisted for the interview how long after the entry test will they be. So that i can plan whether to make 1 or 2 trips. Also will there be an online option?
Also for the entry test, they made me apply twice for the foreign and local seat does that mean ill have to do 2 tests aswell??
Im an alevel student studying for mdcat. Ive taken the kips academy course and in there i find a couple of things id probably ignore if it was alevels (like how many isotopes each element has or what virus causes which symptoms except for HIV ofc). But i dont know if i can do the same for mdcat.
So i guess the question is how do i determine which facts are important.
Thanks in advance for your help!
Ive been wanting to get into vinyl and was looking for recommendations on record players. Since its my first player the budget is pretty low and id like a whole set (turntable and external speakers) to see if i enjoy it without the difficult parts
Any recs?
