Sanziene, by Powderbrush/Me, Digital, 2026

I made this image to celebrate Sanziene, the Romanian version of the Midsummer or Summer Solstice. It takes place June 24th and to me it carries a very mystical meaning. This celebration is associated with love and fertility. On this night girls traditionally wear crowns made of yellow flowers (Galium verum). They also decorate the houses and gates with these plants, as they protect against the evil. On this magical night the gates of heaven open, allowing the two realms, of the living and of the dead, to communicate.

Summer Solstice Sticker by me

Summer Solstice is my third illustration from the Wheel of the Year series, after Spring Equinox. This was inspired by warm summer nights and pagan beliefs. I wanted the illustration to be colorful and bright and I went out of my comfort zone with the colors. And now I turned her into a sticker :)

Toadstool Mushroom Ring Witch Timelapse by me Powderbrush

I drew this image last winter, but here is a snippet of my painting process. It is a redraw of an older piece from 2021. Back then I was really struggling with both anatomy and costume design. So I thought it would be a great opportunity to redraw it and see where I'm standing compared to last year.

Witchy Mushroom Ladies sticker set made by me

Here are my 3 mushroom characters I illustrated and then turned into a sticker set. The red one was inspired by toad ring mushrooms, while the other 2 were inspired by hearty mushroom soup - hence they look like maids :) They are now in my Etsy shop. Thanks for stopping by :)

Welcome to my Patreon!

I am really excited about some big news I have :) After years and years of pondering, I finally opened my Patreon 💫🎉 It's a place where I can finally share my process, sketchbooks and artistic notes in much more depth than social media allows.
Over the last few months I worked hard to put together a structure for my newly opened page and I carefully planned and curated the posts. Of course, it will evolve as time goes by. But it was a dream of mine to be able to share with you some behind the scenes of my process in a more freeing environment, beyond the limits of social media. Here are a few snippets of what you can find there at the moment. There are finished illustrations with a few process steps, traditional sketchbook scans, digital sketchbook pages with tutorials, artistic notes and in-depth descriptions of my thinking process when studying. Also I am happy I now have a place to share with you some of my anatomy and figure drawing studies that I couldn't fully share on social media.
So without further ado, welcome to my Patreon!
If you would like to take a look around the atelier, you can find the link here:

Thank you all so much for the support over the years. It really helped and encouraged me to get to this point :)

Ancient cypress tree spirits by me Powderbrush

Two cypress tree spirits, inspired by ancient mediterranean culture. I sketched them some years ago when I visited Empuries, an archeological site in Spain. But only recently I turned them into full illustrations and now stickers.

Ancient inspired by me Powderbrush

Another one of those pieces I started long ago and only now got my head around it. The goal was to study flash photography lighting and skin tones, but to make it my own. I added an ancient Mediterranean vibe through clothing and hairstyles.
I painted this over several times before I reached this result, it felt uncomfortable at times because the rendering was a bit different than how I usually handle it.

Etsy doesn’t show my products in search

Hello there. My Etsy shop is 4 years old. I sell stickers that I design myself. The shop has been on vacation mode from time to time, and I never actually listed products regularly there until this year. In March I started putting up 1-2 listings per week. Since then, I got between 70-120 euros revenue per month. People only buy when I advertise on my Instagram, Reddit and Tiktok. I have about 14k followers on Instagram and the majority of buyers come from there (i had a max of 11 orders in march). But it seems Etsy search is dead and doesn’t show my products, or I can’t find the right niche? Any advice of how to make Etsy actually see my shop would be greatly appreciated, thank you.
