This is concerning !

Recently, I noticed a drastic increase in my electricity bill in the Seawoods area. There are only two people living in my house me and my mom and our usual electricity usage is pretty basic: fans, TV, laptops, and a fridge during the daytime. We don’t have an AC, and we rarely use a cooler. Usually, our bill is around ₹600–₹700, and even during months when we used the cooler a lot, it would go up to around ₹1,200. But last month, I received a bill of around ₹1,300 even though we barely used the cooler. This month, it has increased to around ₹1,800, despite us still not using the cooler or an AC.

I know ₹1,800 might not seem extremely high compared to some households, but the sudden increase is what concerns me. Going from normally paying ₹600–₹700 to nearly ₹2,000 is almost a 3× increase.

Just a random question

I've been playing football for about 4 months, and I'm right footed. Whenever I try to hit a trivela with my right foot, I end up striking the ball more with the top of my toes rather than the outside of my foot. Surprisingly, it still gives the ball good power and curve. What I don't understand is why it works. I thought a proper trivela was supposed to be struck with the outside of the foot. Should I keep using this technique since it's working for me, or should I correct it and learn the proper outside foot contact instead?

Need a Help

I'm a B.Tech Computer Science student currently looking for a part-time job after my college hours (around 5 PM to 10 PM). I've been saving up to buy a camera that I've wanted for years, but I can't afford it yet. That's why I'm looking for work to earn and save for it. I'm open to almost anything working at a café, as a cashier or counter staff, at places like McDonald's or Starbucks, or even a tech-related role since I'm a CS student and comfortable with computers and technology. If anyone knows of any openings or could refer me to a job, I'd really appreciate your help.

Did anyone else's stream suddenly go black and play a loud screaming woman

I was watching the match on this website when, out of nowhere, the screen went completely black. A second later, a woman started screaming at full volume. It scared the hell out of me! 😭

The worst part is I'm home alone watching the game, and I'm still feeling creeped out while it's on.

Did anyone else experience the same thing, or was it just me???

What should I do ???

Hey, I'm a 3rd-year BTech Computer Science student, and honestly, I'm exhausted by this race. Deep down, I've always wanted to become a filmmaker. I genuinely love everything about filmmaking—the camera, cinematography, composition, color grading, storytelling, and the entire creative process.

But because of family expectations and the pressure to choose a "safe" career, I ended up pursuing engineering. It's not that I'm bad at it—in fact, I score good marks, and I'm good with computers and coding. The problem is that I don't enjoy it. Every day, it feels like I'm working toward a life I never really wanted.

Sometimes I think that after completing my engineering degree, I should pursue filmmaking professionally, maybe even get a degree in it. But then reality hits. I'm being raised by my single mother, and she's worked incredibly hard to get me this far. That makes me scared to take such a big risk. I don't want to let her down, but I also don't want to spend the rest of my life wondering what could have been.

Scared of Losing the Only Home My Family Owns

We've been living in a 250 sq. ft. room in Karave Village, Seawoods, Navi Mumbai since 2011. My father bought this house, and we have all the payment receipts, notarized documents, and other proof of ownership. However, he never completed the property registration.

Sadly, my father passed away in 2024. Since then, I've wanted to move to a slightly bigger home for more space and rent out this room to help support my family. Unfortunately, that's not possible because the registration is still pending.

For the past one and a half years, everyone has been saying that registrations are closed, and there has been no clear update. I'm genuinely worried about what will happen if the registration process never reopens. This is the only home my family owns, and the thought of losing it is terrifying.

They don't deserve to live here

As a kid from Mumbai i always used to think that why these shivsena party are so against up,bihar and bangoli ppl coz they're from the same country we're living they should not be treated in this way also I was against all this as I got so many frds from there

But today I'll support it

Recently, I had to travel to Bhusawal for the funeral of a relative. I usually travel in Sleeper or 3AC, but because it was an emergency, getting a confirmed ticket was nearly impossible, so I had to travel in General Class.

Surprisingly, I didn't face any major issues while travelling from Mumbai to Bhusawal. However, after the funeral, I needed to return to Mumbai on the very same day. Since Bhusawal is a major junction for many trains coming from UP, Bihar, and West Bengal, getting a ticket or even finding space becomes extremely difficult.

What frustrated me even more was the condition of the station facilities. I used a paid public toilet at Bhusawal station, and it was in terrible shape. The door was broken, the smell was unbearable, there was gutkha and Vimal spit all over the walls, and people had written names and numbers everywhere. For a paid facility, the maintenance was shocking.

Things got worse when my train arrived. While boarding, a random passenger pushed my uncle. I'm generally a calm person and avoid fights, but I couldn't tolerate someone disrespecting an elder. I pushed him back and confronted him. The argument quickly escalated, and he started abusing me and acting aggressively. Thankfully, my uncle stepped in and stopped the situation from turning into a physical fight.

Inside the train, the experience wasn't any better. The coach was overcrowded, and there was a strong unpleasant smell throughout. When we politely asked some people to adjust so others could sit, many of them responded rudely and refused to cooperate.

These people abused us like we're the immigrants here, they spits anywhere they want , they smell shit , they're rude with us, I'm not against everyone coz I still got frds whore from up,bihar, jharkhand or bangal but they're living here from 20 yrs and they have much better lifestyle and civic sence , maybe goverment should do something about it , why the whole crowd's coming to mumbai rather than living in their own village and worked there

(Edit:- I also I'm blaming whole community but majority of chapri people of it, I literally travel yesterday in a train with full of Maharashtrian people where I literally got a whole seat to sleep in general component btw , and then whole coming to mumbai I got no tickets reservation in emergency due to crowd thats coming from up bihar, even 2nd class wasn't available , bcz of these overcrowded trains I really don't like to head to my village.coz of inconvenience that I face everytime, why am I suppose to understand if i paid for a ticket , instead this people can get some basis sense of living and stop littering anywhere)
