Inquiry Regarding Education Loan for MCA Program - Chandigarh University

Can CU provide me these 2 thinks

*1 **Automatic Processing via University Affiliation:** Does Chandigarh University have a direct affiliation with the State Bank of India that allows the university's loan cell to process and execute the loan automatically on my behalf? I would like to know if the university can directly facilitate the approval with SBI so that I do not have to manage the entire process manually at my local branch.

*2 **Moratorium Period:** Is it possible to secure a 3-year moratorium period for this loan? Specifically, I am hoping to structure it so that I am not required to pay any EMIs or interest during those 3 years.

Any insights you can provide on these points would be greatly appreciated as I get my documentation ready.

Need Help: How do I get an actual Admission Letter & Student Bonafide from CU for a PM Vidya Lakshmi Loan?

Hey everyone,

I’m a newly admitted **MCA student** at Chandigarh University and I am currently stuck in bureaucratic limbo trying to get my education loan processed through the **PM Vidya Lakshmi Yojana**.

The bank is strictly asking for two specific documents stamped and signed by the university:

  1. **Official Admission Offer Letter / Seat Allotment Letter** (To confirm my active admission status)

  2. **Student Bonafide Certificate / Loan Demand Letter** (Specifying my course duration and loan requirements)

I contacted my admission counselor about this, but they just sent me a completely generic, blank application form that doesn't cover any of the specific details the bank needs.

For context, my application details are:

* **Course:** MCA

**My questions for seniors or anyone who has been through this:**

* Is there a separate, dedicated process on the CUIMS portal to generate these specific loan documents?

* Do I need to pay an extra fee or submit separate documents to the Loan Cell to get these issued?

* How long does the university backend usually take to send the actual stamped PDFs?

I need to submit these to the bank ASAP to avoid any delays in my admission formalities, so any guidance on how to bypass the generic forms and get the right documents would be incredibly appreciated!

Thanks in advance!

Neet advise regarding MCA College

So my problem here is that I only have one situation or option in front of me, which is to choose private colleges for MCA in order to get through with my postgraduate degree. I'm considering Chandigarh University, Lovely Professional University, and CGC. I'm saying I hope that those things are mostly about the propaganda of those institutions, and it's not giving a guarantee of any institution. If you have to give me advice, or if you have studied at one of those institutes, give me a reality check regarding those institutions, such as their placement rates and their educational environment, for example, the coding clubs and so on.

Lost all hope in myself currently in situation of direction-lessness and hopelessness

So I have done BCA through tire 4 colleges. The reason behind why I have done this is because it is nearby my village and the cost of living and education.

What I was thinking is if I do my undergraduate in this college, I can do my postgraduate degree, which costs a lot. So I have lost so much, so I have like decent enough study in my BCA and then move to MCA at one other college.

However, I have two years of gap, and I fear that companies will not be going to hire me. Currently, my age is 21, and I have already lost 1 year of my life by preparing for this competitive exam NIMCET. I am considering one more year in order to crack this exam.

The main reason behind why I don't have the courage to study in private University is the reason because the cost and I can't food to lose on this on this gamble there will be consistence pressure on me in order to get a job or placement through college on campus or off campus.

My POV (Plz correct me if I am wrong) :--

I am only 21 years old and I am thinking of skipping one more year and simultaneously prepare for state level and Central level University program in role myself into that and hope for the best

Beyond the Interface: Exploring AI-Resistant Paths in Computer Science

So, as we are all aware of the fact that AI is getting more and more powerful when it comes to designing front-end and creating stunning UI designs, it might enter back-end as well, but not as aggressively as we see on the front-end side. So, in my personal opinion, front-end designing is probably going to be automated, and the majority of people in front-end design are going to lose their jobs. I was passionate about front-end design, but I am kind of worried about this, and I just want to discover a domain in computer science that is AI-proof and can give me some sort of stability and sustainability in the long term. In my personal opinion, cloud might be a good option, but it took me and is going to take two or three years of experience for this because companies don't have cloud experts for managing their back-end, like they need experienced developers for that. Can someone suggest a few domains that are AI-proof in the long term and are easier to get into? Thank you. I would be grateful for your piece of advice.

Punjab and Himachal

Hi, my name is Himanshu and I am from Shimla, Himachal Pradesh.

As a Himachali, I have observed a significant rise in **negative sentiment** among **Haryanvis** and **Punjabis** towards Himachalis in recent times. There have been incidents highlighting the inappropriate behavior of some tourists from Punjab and Haryana in Himachal Pradesh, which has understandably made locals more cautious and reserved towards outsiders. Additionally, **misunderstandings** over certain things have escalated into **unacceptable** and **condemnable** conflicts.

However, what concerns me even more is a **pattern** I have consistently noticed across social media platforms — including Reddit, Instagram, Facebook, and others — where ***derogatory terms*** are being used specifically targeting ***Himachali girls***, often framing them as **objects** for Punjabi **men**. Initially, I dismissed it as isolated incidents, but the frequency and regularity of such posts make it clear that this is a deeply troubling and **hostile trend**. At the end of the day, we are all part of the Indian Union, sharing a common civilization and cultural heritage — so why does this targeted hatred towards Himachalis exist?

In my view, the root cause likely stems from economic competition. Since Himachal Pradesh lacks large employment hubs like Ambala, Amritsar, or other major cities in Punjab and Haryana, a significant number of Himachalis migrate to Chandigarh for job opportunities. This visible presence has seemingly led to a narrative among some Punjabis that Himachalis are "taking local jobs," fueling resentment. This is not unlike the language-based tensions seen in Bangalore, Hyderabad, and Mumbai — where linguistic identity is used as a cover for what is essentially frustration over perceived competition for limited local opportunities.

I am open to being **corrected**, but this appears to be the most plausible explanation for why this hatred exists and why it is being directed in such a gendered and dehumanizing way towards Himachali women in particular.
