I'm building a pair of build to order work Wellingtons.

Black bison. I'm debating between full bison or rough out.

Would lower rough out and upper smooth look ugly on a wellington?

I can only find full leather or full roughout pictures online.

Debating going full smooth black shrunken bison/ full roughout/ half and half :/

I can't make up my mind before I submit my order today.

Curious, microfiber is the best material available.

So why bother with any other material?

Modal is terrible for moisture wicking and softness and cotton doesn't stay soft/ hold up over the use cycle.

I have like 3 dozen microfiber briefs and jocks.

It's so odd how people can't handle it or their bodies.

My current boot has a piece of vegtan leather with a rubber shock backing.

So it's maybe 2mm thick.

I bought a 5mm thick insole and it's way too thick.

I've got a high arch foot.

Should I look at work boot orthopedics/ cowboy boot or get a thick ass slab of vegtan leather for more comfort and support. Thanks

I got a new pair of Drew's boots. I have shin splints and rubbing on my heel and my pinkie and big toe bones.

Brannock has me at a 9 and so did redwing. So I'm good for length and width.

Just need more support and cushion on the edges.

What's the best socks and insoles around for PNW boots 👢🥾

I have a pair of Drew's Chelsea on the way in size 9D. They are true to fit.

I went to redwing and they did the 3d foot scan and I'm a 9 D.

I wear a 10 in athletic foot wear.

Just curious how accurate PNW boots sizing is?

I know that you should go half or a full inch smaller than a athletic shoe for boots.

I have two pairs of Origin boots in 9.5 D.

I just bought a pair of drew boots and I'm concerned they won't fit at 9 D.

I've got 1/2" till my toe hits the end of the boots. They have a safety toe built in.

I wear a 10/ 10 1/2 in regular athletic shoes.

Should I just cancel my order or roll the dice.
