I have 95.3 percentile 198xx rank in MHT CET, can I get a seat in spot round and also is spot round admission fees same as cap fees?

Need genuine advice from u guys and what you guys think I should do

I have 95.3 percentile rank 198xx so I am not seeing me getting anything good right now. I have KJSCE CE Seat but that is without scholarship which means 5.7 LPA.

I am middle class, I am only child so I can afford the fees but it is a strech. Should I pay the high fees and get into KJSCE CE? or go for mht cet cap rounds and get into any college I get with obv much lower fees.

Please help me out as I am really confused as to what to do next!

I have a few doubts if anyone can answer them please help this bhikari out 🙏🏻

1. The first installment of ₹1,50,000 is to be paid by 27 July 2026 to confirm my admission. If I decide to withdraw later (for example, after the MHT CET CAP rounds), will this amount be refundable? If yes, could you please let me know the applicable refund policy and the last date up to which a refund can be claimed?
2. I am currently waitlisted for the Merit Scholarship (Waitlist No. 116 for Computer Engineering). Since many scholarship seats may become available after the MHT CET CAP rounds, how will I be informed if my scholarship waitlist position changes? Is there any way to track the movement of the scholarship waitlist?
3. If I become eligible for a merit scholarship after paying the second installment of ₹4,17,000, how will the scholarship be applied? Will the fee be adjusted or refunded accordingly?
4. Is the second installment of ₹4,17,000 required to be paid as a single lump-sum payment, or are there any provisions for paying it in multiple parts?
5. If I pay both installments to secure my admission and later receive a preferred seat through MHT CET CAP Round III or Institute-Level/Spot Rounds, what would be the applicable refund policy? Could you please specify the refund amount or the policy that would apply in such a case?

And how do we know how far the waitlist has moved?

I called the admission desk now and confirmed I got CE but the part that shocked me was that the lady said that they have sent me the letter long ago but I have not recieved it due to some technical glitch! Will my waitlist number be affected because of this?? She said it will come out by tomorrow

But I had called the admissions desk yesterday and the lady asked for my application number and told me I had gotten into CE, I can't see any offer letter tho but many ppl in this sub have got it today!

1. Will windows specific apps be required and can I live without a windows machine for 4 years?
2. Any macbook tips (apps, shortcuts, general usage) from any senior with a macbook

3)How is Macbook for a CS student in India?? Like will I face any difficulty due to MacOS and not windows
